  • i like what you did at the start, the warm-up!

  • @ididjaustralia sup Guan! that start was only a mackin'around with the toots, but it has somehow developed into something that i hope it'll become a new song soon... believe it or not, there's a lot of traditional inspiration in what I play, although it does sound miles away...

hey, hope that wasn't the only thing u liked! ;-)

  • @rarrk i liked the whole thing but the warm-up sounds awesome - superfast and very percussive!

  • @ididjaustralia thanx man!!!! power to keep doin it and to improve it!

  • @rarrk how long can you keep it up marcos, dat 5 beat pattern? i guess the breathing will break the cycle yes?

  • @ididjaustralia Hey! there's no 5 beat pattern actually, I think... what I start doing with the didge on the left is a 7 beat pattern, then I move to the other didge and play a 6 beat pattern, actually very similar to the one before, the difference is that I add a little tail to the first pattern to make the "7" from a "6"... After that, I start playing a conventional "4", a phrase that could be considered "3+3+2" (=8)... Which one exactly do you mean?? I usually breath in tiny gaps, I dunno...

  • I sow him live :O)

  • Great setup marcos! How's your website coming on?

  • @didgeHague hey!! long time! well, my website is somehow on the slow traffic line... too many warfronts for a one-man army!! but slowly getting there!!! I'd say I'll have it soon, very soon, but can't tell when! a new album will see the light first...

    good to hear ya!
