I know this is the YouTube community and it is a long-shot but please, I have been mutilated and I will never know what it feels like to be a complete man again, I hate my parents so much for it.
Please donate to Foregen (dot) org
An organization dedicated to regenerating whatever is needed so people like me, and millions, will have the chance to be complete once again after being mutilated against our wills.
Nice take on institutionalized genital mutilation. I found the most outstanding explanation on exactly what it is and what it is designed to do, as the speaker mentions so vividly. The video is called LA PAROLA IN CUATRO I (pt. 3 of 5) There are four segments to this vid with many parts, but I (part 3 of 5) is exactly about genital mutilation, from a physiological, historical, and modern perversion of institution perspective. LA PAROLA IN CUATRO is awesome and I recommend it
Religion is a very effective form of control. Now I can't think of a better way to test how dedicated a person is than seeing if that person, that parent would injure/hurt/disfigure their own children. It's disgusting that religions pray on on our human fear of death by promising us an afterlife in return for following some rules.
@RockoMyler 'circumcision not only being a Jewish practice but also practiced in America' it is still a Jewish practice from the Abrahamic religion brought over to America by Jewish doctors. As a well researched person on the history of circumcision he said he didn't know where the idea of metzitzah b'peh came from and also said 'it came in later' but it is easily researched to show it was common practice of circumcision up until very recently.
@RockoMyler one more important thing he made the assumption 'with no evidence' that Christians in the early times must have seen Jews performing circumcisions and came up with the idea of Jewish ritual murders.
.There is plenty of historical documented evidence that shows much evidence of Jewish ritual murders from extremist Jewish sects.
After a hostile argument with my orthodox aunt about my bris and my atheism, she finally admitted that if she wasn't Jewish she wouldn't have wanted me to get circumcised. And she is a nurse/midwife. I'm as atheist as you are except that I think the passover seder is a bizarre waste of time. I gave my brother & his wife questioning circumcision a Jewish perspective by Ronald Goldman, he said he won't read it + he will have a bris if they have a son.
It would be massively unethical to circumcise a consenting adult. An adult who wants to get circumcised needs to get psyched out and learn that it is not the case that in order to avoid feeling guilty or to feel happy or to feel Jewish he needs to get a part of his body cut off.
My family gets so angry when I mention my Jewish ritual penile disfigurement. They specifically said people should never say this is wrong & that they think its a parents choice.
@Chroma2021 We don't know. It's a peciliar idea that doesn't seem to need a lot of hammering, considering how revolting it is. The fact that the person it's done to can't resist makes it relatively easy, but it has a way of embedding itself into a culture and then being very hard to remove.
Circumcision is a major crime and a plot to weaken a man - that's why they do it. There is no good reason to mutilate the penis. It takes away the stimulation, which is great, that the foreskin provides to the head.
Glick's understanding of the issues, from so many different perspectives - medicine, religion, anthropology, etc., is amazing. If only more people would listen and think about what he is saying, this would be a much better world.
My experience in talking to SF Bay Area Jews is 25% are not circumcising. This book is the best I've ever read on this subject. Next I'll read Moises Tractenberg's book "Judaism, Christianism, Islamism, Animism and Circumcision", then Lisa Braver Moss "The Measure of His Grief." On USA female circumcision please read Patricia Robinett's book telling about her own forced cut by her mother in Kansas "The Rape of Innocence".
What I find most compelling is his assertion that all cultures change, even ultra-orthodox ones, which change their practices and adopt new ones (e.g. bris, Polish clothing) and so we shouldn't be afraid of changing again. How many Jews observe all of the commandments of the Torah? Practically none. Why is it so special to hold on to the genital cutting, then, arguably the most brutal of all the practices? How necessary is this for Jewish "identity", anyway (and is that 'identity' worth having?)
Great interview, Dr. Glick! It takes a brave man to proclaim his Jewish heritage and point out the barbaric and evil nature of gential cutting. Whose Body, Whose Rights?
It takes a big man to admit his mistakes, and Dr. Glick is indeed a BIG man. All power to his pen, spreading the word about the evils of ritual sexual abuse. I am a circumcised Gentile, and I hate the practice, and the damage it does throughout life.
Very inspiring to hear his journey as an intactivist. I agree with him that every child has the right to his whole body and physical integrity.
I sure wish my parents had not let me circumcised. I would have preferred to have my whole penis, not just what the Dr. Kutter left behind after my circumcision.
what a revolting practice. i'm so glad my parents were not compelled to do that to me; I can forgive them for teaching me a false worldview they believe, but cutting off part of my body before I could consent - I would hate them.
Mine was cut off. But I don't hate my parents for it, the ignorance of genital mutilation at the time was rampant. But I do hold the medical field culpable because they provided an amputation procedure in the complete absence of any indications and did it simply as a thoughtless whim. They ignored MY rights to my own body.
@PixelSlayer247 My mother fell victim to the pleading of a doctor to circumcise. Luckily, today, most mother's are more interested in health research and notice that not a single medical association recommends circumcision. Just check the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) on their policy to *not* recommend circumcision given their balance of all so-called health benefits against the risk of circumcision, including an annual death and a dozen annual mutilations of penises beyond function.

A somewhat sensible look on circumcision though I will add this video is heavily indoctrinated with Jewish propaganda.

Since 98% of circumcisions have no justificiation, I'd like to know why it's ok to cut a baby boy's penis but not a baby girl's genitals.
feministsAreCorrupt 9 months ago 8
@feministsAreCorrupt you and a lot of other people!
Maybe because the male mutilation has been done for a long time in North America and female mutilation is new and therefore foreign.
