I'm all for the CSCI initiative, and I love the associated videos - all very creative and even educational. Just wondering though: How much energy would have been saved by not filming, editing and watching these movies.
This movie is responsible for almost 3 minutes of computer power from me alone. Right now I see 302 views, so thats just over 782 minutes, which is 13 hours 20 minutes...bear in mind that laptops idle at maybe 20 watts??

Don't forget to factor in the impact.
- The new decisions they make in the future based on their though process when planning and producing their video.
- Spreading the message to their friends
- The impressions on the viewers.
- The conversation we're having.
Can't forget the intangibles
