Reall guys it doesn't matter, this song itself is ment to be sexy, that much I agree. But you have to remember this kind of music was played in underground and unknown places when the period of "slutty" like courtesan female entertainers were singing it. Personally speaking I think it gives the song a more dirty jazz feel, and Christina has such a powerfull and sexy voice and figure and attitude when she plays her stuff, thats the kinda entertainer she is.

@barbie309 Sex sells. That's all people know anymore. It's so unnessasary, but, it's what sells. Type in Fever - Bette Midler (skip the first 20 seconds of it) and then to the right of that is Peggy Lee: Fever. If Peggy Lee was as young as she was in 1958 when she first did this song and came along now she'd never make it.
