I agree with you and I don't feel that the majority of these consumers actually give two fucks about the planet. To them, buying a reusable "I am not a Plastic Bag" bag at Whole Foods was purely about FASHION rather than AWARENESS. Buying a reusable bag isn't gonna do very much if we don't CONSERVE and REDUCE our emissions! I can go out and spend $ on reusable bags, but when it comes down to it, if everyone doesn't change their ways (composting leftover food, biking) then we're still FUCKED!
