i lost my ipod touch too ; i plan to do something about it and my friends are gonna help cuz thats what friends do, so you should do the same; this is what im doing: 1- ask them to find out who took it, 2-once you know who took it formulate a plan to lure him out (make sure the guy is the one who took it), 3-even if he admits it he wont give it back, make sure that you have it in a reachable spot (that u can steal it back), 4-steal it back, beat it out of him or blackmail him.
@neodarkend or just beat them up and tell them if they don't give it back you will kick thier ass 1 time a week untill they get it to you. then at the end of a year you kill them... ok maby not the last part, but i would kick thier ass (get my $200 worth of ass kicking)

Apple is corrupt. They WONT help you find your iPods, yet they have the ability to. They can and DO track people's serial numbers when they log into iTunes. They just want you to spend more money buying a new iPod. It should be illegal for Apple to do this...
