Forgive a question from UK student PPL, but how come the Airport Advisory didn't include that 242 that was just about to depart? Surely that is valid traffic info?

Oh and another great video by the way, the last time I flew, (solo student circuits) I overshot the base leg turn too!! Blame the wind!!

Don't feel bad, I almost did that a couple times at a Class D with two adjacent runways. I bet they would have chewed me out good!

The first sector 134.5 wouldn't take me. That was the slower sector 134.0 around the old March AFB.

It reopened Sept 1st with new owners. It's really a good stop in the cooler months.
