  • that's a lie! I am haitian but never heard those nonesense!

  • we got no danm muslim slave in Haiti!

  • wow! beyond interesting I want to look into this further. Thanks for the post and thank god for this presentation.

  • non se pas vre...voodoo se une melanj .. these are truths...read servants of allah by a Howard University Prof. ...portions of voodoo has my myth, history and religious origin by each contributing tribe

  • three words to describe this video. Astounding. Fascinating. Enlightining

  • one thing that jerk did not say the haitian slave drunk pig blood b4 they start the war agains the french wow that was very islamic lol you muslim should be proud of that

  • @fulltoday every group did something wrong or bad so that dont matter can u say u truely right

  • mwen se haitian) and this idiot just just prove to everyone islam is all about the devil

  • What the hell does he mean by "the so called Vodou Ceremony"? This is extremely disrespectful to Vodou as a Haitian religion. This man needs to check his facts about the religious history of Haiti. He has twisted the truth about the impact of African traditional religious beliefs and practices during the Haitian Revolution.

  • No disrespect to the Muslim brothers but its funny how they try to Islamize the Haitian slave revolution and ignore the African aspect of how Haitian gained independece. Haitian used Voodou to liberate themsleves. This history lesson is at best dubious

  • @wenithboy "Haitian used Voodou to liberate themsleves" please elaborate. I'm Haitian, i know Haiti's history.

  • @slizz27 please educate me, and i am not haitian and i know the country's history much better than most people from the country. what is your take on what is known as voodou? what do you know about voodou? most haitians don't know a damn thing about the religion of voodou, and this is a known fact. please explainif you know the history or lead me to your sources and i will check for myself. please no haitian pride please! thank you.

  • @daniels37 Dude you are definitely delusional. Why would you assume you know more about the history of my country and voodoo better than Haitians who live and practice it? Please ask me anything you want and i'll will be glad to teach your non Haitian ass a thing or two.

  • @daniels37 My sources are my family my culture, you can't verify what you read in books writing by some fool that doesn't understand my culture. Don't be a fool.

  • @slizz27 THE FACT REMAINS ALSO, THAT MOST HAITIANS DON'T REALLY KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEIR OWN CULTURE. ALSO, MANY HAITIANS DON'T EVEN CLAIM VOODOO AS THEIR RELIGION; THIS IS A KNOWN FACT. JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, THE MAROONS OF HAITI CAME FROM GHANA IN AFRICA WHO WERE MUSLIMS. ALSO, MOST HAITIANS CAN'T EVEN TELL YOU WHERE THEY CAME FROM BEFORE THEY BECAME HAITIANS.

  • @daniels37: what do you mean by most Haitians don't know their history? I find your statement to be problematic. What i hate about must you guys who are part of the Nation of Islam is that not only do you preach hate but you also tend to distort fact and truth in order to get your one-sided perspective across. His view on Haitian history is simply inaccurate. And there are historical accounts that disprove most of the things that this man has said about Haitian Vodou. and Vodou is a religion.

  • @proudblack25 i know vodou is a religion and you don't know what i know about haiti. your job is to produce the facts on paper and that is all you need to do.

  • @daniels37 I already provided you with a list of books to read to educated yourself accordingly. You keep on asking for facts and paper but you have not provided anything on here that would validate your historical knowledge of the Haitian revolution. All the knowledge that you have acquired sounds quite speculative. So until you can counteract what we are telling you with a history that speaks to the reality of the Haitian people, I would suggest that you stop spreading lies.

  • @proudblack25 ALSO, I AM AWARE OF THE FACT THAT MANY AFRICANS THAT CAME TO HATI WERE FROM MANY AFRICAN TRIBES AND NATIONS THAT PRACTICED MANY FORMS OF VODOU. ALSO, I DO RECONISED VOUDOU AS A RELIGION, HOWEVER, I DID STATE THAT PRIOR. I ALSO STATED THAT, VODOU IS NOT JUST A HAITIAN RELIGION, IT IS AN AMERICAN RELIGION ALSO. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I AM OF GULLAH HERITAGE FROM SOUTH CAROLINA AND I CURRENTLY LIVE IN MIAMI AND PARIS, FRANCE.

  • @proudblack25 ALSO, YOU WILL HAVE TO GIVE ME MORE TIME TO VERIFY THE BOOKS AND INFORMATION ABOUT THE MANY OF AUTHORS THAT WROTE ON THE SUBJECT PERTAINING TO THE SUBJECT MATTER OF HAITI. ALSO, NOT BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE WROTE BOOKS MEANS THAT THEY ARE PROVIDING ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE.

  • @daniels37: Based on what you have said and given the fact that you seem to be in agreement with Min. Farrakhan suggests that your knowledge of the history and the people of Haiti is thin. More important, I find you to be very arrogant to assume that you know Haitian history more than those of us who have not only studied the history but also embody it. If you want i am willing to invite to come to a course that I teach at Columbia University on Caribbean religious history.

  • @proudblack25 I NEVER SAID ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT HAITIAN HISTORY, AND I DID HAPPEN TO STUDY IN GREAT DETAIL ABOUT THE HAITIAN REVOLUTION AND HOW IT HELP SHAPE NORTH AMERICA. ALSO, YOU JUST ASSUMED THAT I AM A MEMBER OF THE NATION OF ISLAM, WHICH YOU ARE VERY WRONG INDEED!

  • @proudblack25 ALSO, IT IS A KNOWN FACT THAT MUSLIMS FROM AFRICA, MAINLY THE COUNTRY MALI. AND IT IS KNOWN FACT THAT (BOUCKMAN) WAS A MUSLIM FROM THAT AREA, AND HE CAME FROM JAMAICA BEFORE HE CAME TO HAITI.

  • @proudblack25 I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN HAITI BUT I DO KNOW HAITIAN HISTORY BY WAY OF BOOK KNOWLEDGE LIKE MANY HAITIANS. HOWEVER, YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE IN A COUNTRY OR TIME PERIOD IN ORDER TO KNOW OR HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF A PEOPLE. LIKE MANY AMERICANS, MANY OF THEM DON'T EVEN KNOW THEIR OWN COUNTRY AND HISTORY AND THEY HAVE NEVER LIVED ANYWHERE ELSE.

  • @proudblack25 BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING ME WITH THE BOOKS YOU POSTED. NOT TO OFFEND YOU IN ANY WAY, BUT MANY HAITIANS HAVE TO MUCH PRIDE AT TIMES WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR HISTORY AND THEY THINK THAT THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DOMINATE CONVERSATIONS ABOUT THE TOPIC AND KNOW ONE ELSE CAN TELL THEM ABOUT HAITI, I EXPERIENCE THIS ALL THE TIME WITH MANY HAITIANS IN THE UNITED STATES.

  • @proudblack25 SO YOU ARE IMPLYING THAT THE MAN GIVING KNOWLEDGE HERE IS INCORRECT AND HAS NO BASIS? IF SO, HOW MUCH IS HE OFF AND WHERE DO YOU THINK HE IS RIGHT AND WRONG? PLEASE TAKE IN ACCOUNT THAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT HAITIAN MUSLIMS IN THE BEGINNING OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW NATION? ALSO, ARE YOU IMPLYING THAT ISLAM AND MUSLIMS DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HAITIAN HISTORY AND MILITARY STRATEGY? REMEMBER, BEFORE THERE WAS EVER A HAITI THERE WAS AFRICA. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THAT.

  • @daniels37: Here are a few books you might consider reading to be enlightened about Haitian religious history: The Haitian Revolution, Voodoo and Politics in Haiti, God in Haitian Voodoo, Voodoo in Haiti, Haitian Vodou: Spirit, Myth, and Reality, Avengers of the New World. I hope you find some time to read some of these books. If you need me to refer to more books and articles, feel free to contact on here.

  • @daniels37 On the contrary my dude most Haitians do know about their history and culture. Voodoo is not a religion its a way of life. Voodoo now is not the same of old. Catholic deities or (Christian) was introduce into voodoo because of the slave masters did not want slaves to practice their culture. Voodoo practitioners believe in one true God. Most slave in general including "Africa American" can't tell where they came from. I believe we are Hebrew Israelites, not Muslim.

  • @slizz27 WELL, YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THAT, BUT I ALWAYS NEW THAT THE BLACKS THAT CAME TO THE AMERICAS WERE THE HEBREW ISRAELITES. I ALWAYS NEW THIS AND I AM A BLACK MAN FROM THE UNITED STATES. BUT MANY OF THOSE IN THE CARIBBEAN DON'T KNOW EITHER. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I GO TO CARIBBEAN ALL THE TIME.

  • @slizz27 IF YOU STUDY THE PRACTICES OF THE BIBLE IN THE OLD TESTEMENT, ONE WOULD SEE THE SAME PRACTICES IN VOODOO OR VOUDON. DO YOU NOT AGREE? TALK TO ME BROTHER.

  • @slizz27 THE PROBLEM WITH VOODOO TODAY IN THE AMERICAS, IT HAS BEEN WATERED DOWN AND MIXED WITH OTHER AFRICAN SCIENCES AND MOST PEOPLE NOWADAYS DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VOODOO AND SATANIC RITUALS. MOST OF WHAT YOU SEE TO DAY IS NOT A WAY OF LIFE, MANY TURN TO THE PERVERTED VOODOO TO GAIN LEVERAGE IN LIFE, SUCH AS, MONEY, LOVE AND FAME.

  • @daniels37 Voodoo today is mixed with catholic beliefs my dude, well at least in Haiti. If you are Haitian

history you would know that the slave masters did not want us to practice our way of life, they force upon us the Catholic religion or die.

  • @slizz27 WELL, ALL HISTORY IS DOCUMENTED SO PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THAT. SO IF YOU ARE SAYING THAT THIS MAN IS WRONG REGARDING THE HISTORY OF HAITI, PLEASE PROVE HIM WRONG ON YOUTUBE. ALSO, JUST GIVE ME ONE LEAD OR HISTORICAL EVIDENCE OF WHAT HE IS SAYING IS WRONG AND I WILL BACK YOU UP. IF YOU CAN'T PROVE ANYTHING, WELL THAT MAKES YOUR TALK INVALID.

  • @daniels37: How dare you telling us about our own history when you are not Haitian and have not lived the history. All you're trying to do is to make a case for the role that Islam has played in the Haitian Revolution. Apparently, you have no concept or understanding of the different religions that were represented during that time. The slaves did not have one religious belief. They were people from different tribes and nations in Africa who practiced different religions, not just Islam.

  • @wenithboy you need to do some research before you start misleading the people. in other words, don't talk what you do not know. however, it is your job to prove the man wrong.

  • @wenithboy IF YOU KNEW THE TRUE HISTORY OF HAITI AND THE PEOPLE WHO THEY WERE BEFORE THEY REACHED THE COUNTRY, YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT A PERCENTAGE OF THE SLAVES THAT CAME THERE WERE MUSLIM BEFORE THEY CAME TO THE ISLAND. OK! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH.

  • @daniels37: Apparently, you have a very narrow understanding of the different beliefs that African peoples practiced before they were brought to the western world as slaves. Your comments show that you have no idea of the different religious histories that African peoples have embodied for centuries. I would advise you to expand your theological horizon beyond your islamic, religious world. And learn to respect other religious traditions and cultures, that are not islamic.

  • This video has some wonderful bites of historical information in it, but the propaganda of islam that is brother is pushing is overt.Read the history of Haiti for youself people. The people united as black women and black men not Muslims. So let us steer clear of religious idealogies and come under one banner and one banner only ,Black liberation or nothing.Peace to the black man and woman, war if we must and death to the coon.

  • @gotthemgoing What he says is the truth. Unless you have something that refutes it, just accept the truth. What is your problem with Islam?

  • where is the rest of this lecture?

  • Nice!!!!

  • Interesting.

  • man they practiced vodoo in hati everything is not muslium we need to stop that

  • @ankh4835 there were a lot of different religions throughout that area. Everyone was and STILL is different.

  • @mktking i totally agree with you.

  • @ankh4835

My brother, do you just parade around muslim brothers channels looking to debate. smh. come on home family. we waiting on you.

  • @ankh4835 it's obvious that you know nothing about west Africa culture and religion.

Marabouts are islamic religious leaders and teachers in Africa. Some of them still keep alive syncretic pre-islamic traditions(some may call it ''vodoo''),making amulets for good luck, presiding at ceremonies, telling the future...

Please stop worshipping Egyptian pyramids and learn African history and culture!

  • @akidah please stop worshiping the Arab mans female Islamic moon God since most Black people who have an understanding of their culture in kemet have no problem in differentiating myths and folklore of desert nomads from reality.

  • @dysesthesiaAethiopi1 who thought you about the socalled ''Arab mans female islamic moon God''?Or is it a fantasy?I will bet all my money on the latter!

Try to visit west Africa and ask the man/woman on the street about his/her ''culture in kemet''.You will be considered a mad man.i promise you!

  • Comment removed

  • @dysesthesiaAethiopi1 yes they still burn people as witches in west Africa, but muslims don't do such things because it goes against the teaching of islam.Islam deals with rationality and knowledge!

Which Arab are you talking about?Define the modern Arab.

You should be more concerned with tribalism, curruption and bad governance in Africa because that was the root cause of the conflict in Rwanda. It has nothing to do with islam!!!

  • @akidah Ideally Muslims don't burn witches but they bury mainly women sometimes up to their necks and stone them to death for the same type of superstitions that others burn witches for. It's a similar process and it is done only on the basis that your superstitions must be more true than theirs because you believe in it more than they believe in theirs

  • @dysesthesiaAethiopi1 show me one stable country in Africa where muslim women are being stoned to death.

There is nothing superstitious about men of women being stoned for committing adultery.

You sound like an white racist or white jew pretending to be a black man!

  • Comment removed

  • @akidah You epitomise part of the reason why Black people will never unite and will only be groups of themselves not a group for itself. There is no way your 1400 year old folklore, myths and fables of backward dessert nomads you believing in can advance black people as a whole. As Amos Wilson say a man must not serve any religion which dose not serve them and all of those superstitious have provided more benefits to our oppressor than to ourselves.

  • @dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Stop disguising yourself as a black man to deceive the masses!

    My islam serves me good!

''Our oppressors''?Your white racist atheist brothers in Europe and America are my oppressors!

  • @akidah, I don't have any white brothers all I have is groups of black people being groups for themselves instead of being a group for itself. That's why some of our greatest African centered thinkers (Amos Wilson, Yosef Ben-Jochannan and Henrik clarke et, al) all come to the conclusion that the belief in myths as reality - whether our own or our oppressors adaptions - has seriously retarded the advancement of the black race.

  • Comment removed

  • @akidah When white people colonized and enslaved the Rwanda's they told the two tribes that one was inferior to the other and they were different races while (genetically) they are one people. That is the power our oppressors and even our own myths which most black people like you don't want to dispel. Until when black people can differentiate between superstition/myth and reality instead of faith in the supernatural we will not have any rational objectives for the solutions to our problems.

  • @dysesthesiaAethiopi1 is your ''kemet'' not superstition/myth?

Are we now talking about religion or white people? The whites who colonized Africa were atheist just like you. They used the good name of Jezus to shield their evil deeds!

The currupt leaders in Africa today have nothing to do with religion. They are puppets of white atheists in Europe and America. You rather have to turn your hate and anger towards your white-atheist neo-colonialists in Europe and America.

  • @akidah The people of Kemet believed in myths that are the foundations of the myths in judea-christianity and your islam.

You must be really deluded to say that the people of Kemet are a myth when there is proof that the Sphinx, the pyramids and temples still exist while what proof is their that Abraham,Isaac/Ishmael and Moses existed outside of your books of mythology.

  • @dysesthesiaAethiopi1 what proof is there that your great grandfather existed?

    Ignorant white racist!
