Thanks, Stefan, for another great review. I bought my 738 on Mr.Dagon007's recommendation, and I share your enthusiasm for it. My carbon fiber inlays are also a little "proud" of the stainless frames, but overall you can't beat the value.

Wow, what a nice knife. Definetly a great gentleman's folder. Are you 100% sure that the CF is real CF? SRM sold a model once that was announced at having CF handles, but Exduct noted that it wasn't in fact CF but just a material that immitated the looks of it.

I like this one! I agree, the blue 2nd layer is pretty sweet. I wish the pocket clip sat lower in the pocket though. Nice vid!

I like it, and I think you are right to call it a gentlemens folder. In that roles I would remove the clip and carry it as a pocket knife. Great review Stefan.

Those anodized liners really made that form work. It made the stainless handles less bulky and really smarted it up a bit. I wish more liners would come anodized, it always makes the knife look lighter and slightly more classy.

well, not all carbon figer is of the same quality. this carbon fiber on the Sanrenmu is most likely of low to very low quality

Thank you for another clear and informative review! Looks like a nice knife all around.

I don't know that I'd use it as a gentleman's folder: I can't see myself pulling that out of my suit jacket to open a letter or cut some fruit without drawing unwanted attention. Seems more like a general EDC folder with some classy elements.

Non-knife people seem to have little patience with non-traditional looking pocket knives. I personally doubt they'd notice the CF or the anodizing.

Another excellent review. The 710 definitely has a place in my collection and I may look to get one of these as well. 8CR14MOV is for sure a good steel at that price point when you bear in mind its very very similar to the same steel Spyderco use on a lot of their half decent knives! All the best!

Das Messer sieht ja ganz schick aus...nur schade das hier Plaste mit verarbeitet wurde.

Auf das bunt flambierte Metall...steh ich auch nicht so... aber das ist ja zum Glück Geschmackssache.

Mir war das 738 ein wenig zu verspielt.....aber für das Geld,welches man berappen muss für dieses Messer,wahrlich ein "Homerun"...und für alle,welche ein rasantes Gentlemens knife kaufen möchten...im technischen Look...ein echter Tip!
