I remember being a kid in Cal. in the '70's &'80's watching guy's do wheelie's! And just driving by, gave Me the bug before Had a bike! Still love the sound of a Kawi!!

I ride an '86 Honda Magna V45!  Love the sound it make's too!!

Very creative for 71. We used to film our MX bikes doing tricks etc. That triple sound still turns heads. I'll see someone watering the lawn , back turned , drop a gear and pin it, they always do a fast turn, what the heck is that! The young sport bike guys never heard such a sound.They love it. Old school power

Man, don't that take me back! With just a little work, shave a little aluminum off of the bottom of that head , some carb & jetting work, a trio of bassani expansion chambers, & some mild porting with a dremel, and I swear that front tire was helium filled the way it just would hang up there once it wound up some! People forget things like the drag race 5 up tranny, and a tendency for severe speed wobbles and tank slapping with the best of them. Just the sound alone brought it all back for me.

@bigisezhi 18 years old, fearless & stupid, 98 lbs. when I was dripping wet, add one Kawasaki Triple and you had a rocket of a bike with an unbeatable sound and sometimes a recipe for disaster!

@kawasakih1 Still have around here somewhere...a front caliper's brake fluid reservoir cap saved as a souvenir...with the deepest damnedest grooves ground into that cap as visible undeniable proof of a full on power loop to the reverse/ forward and inverted! No real other way to achieve such remarkably memorable markings if one were to ponder the physics of the forces involved. What of the rear view mirror you might ask? I really dunno, just plain GONE! Wasn't of any usage above 3,000 anywho!
