  • Asome video, How do you quote these jobs, ive been thinking of purchesing a truck and float. I got 25 years experience in earthmoving on every bit of machine but dont no how to quote the jobs or when you need a escort. like between floating D10 to floating a D8 to the same job site. Is there a web site i can go to which is got all the going rates. does any body no

  • bout 300 tons

  • how much tons does this load have?

    amazing sound of the truck

  • if you watch carefully, you might be able to see the pistons shoot out of the engine

  • That mack sounds awsome

  • y r thay goin so sloe? smoekie wif radar ahed? get uh jammar.

  • i want !

  • Awesome horsepower, could only be the Mighty Mack Superliner. in unison with a common goal ! DELIVER ! Good job lads. Wish I had that sort of H/P when I was operating for Walter Wright !

  • nah m8 watch the whole clip the puller is wobble star but the pusher is a superliner and the noise, u could be a blind person an no that thats a E9 V8

  • that aint no mack its a western star look at the next video

  • damn...now that's one huge load!!! :D

  • now thats one fucken beasty mack, It looks sorta like a western star

  • I didn't hear his answer back, was that at absolute wide open? Thats a very impressive haul, and some beautiful trucks, you don't see that too often here in the U.S.

That superliner has a great sound to it

  • 1 Low :)

  • the Cat 994 Superleggera wouldn't need a pusher

  • lÕl_åñYönê_wàÑNå_chåt_wìth_mé_Ì_feÉl_s0_lÓNËly_tØÐÂY♥

  • Do they have any normal size trucks in Australia? By the way, that's some pretty countryside.

  • @554687858 lol normal size normally has 3 or more trailers

  • the driver must tired after arrive destination

  • how do they unload it??

  • @jaminthastreets drive it off

  • Hammer Down!

  • westerstar and mack

  • Mack and Super...2 words that definitely don't belong next to each other

  • i remember Kelian Gold Mine Kalimantan back early 90's getting no 2 off the production line of the 994 and was told u only have enough spare tyres for 2 replacements. As model so new good year still working on moulds and that. As they where using other loaders moulds and adding to the size. Kelian Blew 3 tyres in 2 months. Plus a 80 hours up river on barge to river side port, then assemble at port and drive the next 30 km... those where the days

  • if those tractor units were to fail that little pick-up truck would be toast...

  • @Jamiewaldie1992 but mack does not fail

  • @TheLuke2reeve I know i'm just saying if for some silly reason it did then it'd have no chance when there's something that big on the trailer

  • @Jamiewaldie1992 yeah true

  • @Jamiewaldie1992

hahahahahaha lmao so true and love the way you said it

  • @MrSoccernugget cheers dude :)

  • Vids like this are cool but I noticed alot more hoarse power was added by turning the head lights on. Never understood the concept of every one running during day light hours with lights on like its dark or something

  • @1969Charger4401969 Oversize trucks MUST have their headlights on.

It part of o/size permit conditions

  • @shaned8845 Not according to what I can find in my home state Oversize regulations.

  • @1969Charger4401969 Your NOT in Australia, have a look at AUSTRALIAN regulations

  • @1969Charger4401969 hoarse?

  • @markrskinner LOL almost as ridiculous as running around with lights on during the day aint it?

  • @1969Charger4401969 regulations

  • That super dog sounds awsome!! 70000 pound rears, thats huge. My heavy haul pete has 52000 pounders and thats about the biggest you can get here.

  • Nice Video

  • Nice Video

  • fucken awesome!!!!!!!

  • ahh okies you must have mistook me but i didnt say you yanks dont haul big stuff.. all i said was in reply to saturnsongs comment about you guys making our trucks.. which you dont i know they pull some big stuff over there. they jus dont have the trucks we do..

  • no offense to you yankee fella but none of these trucks you see where built or even thought of by usa.. trust me i have driven in usa an you never see any big kennys or macks or even western stars so settle down with ya we built this an you guys are shit okies.. last time i checked australia has road trains which are 150ft long an weigh around 130-150 ton you guys dont have anything like that

  • i don`nt know how much trukin you did here in the USA but search Diamond trucking we do go big and those trucks are not all that special both trucks power combined maby 1900 hp to the groung and being nice and what that KW has 44k rears..... medium duty oil field winch trucks have 52k rears we also have KW`s that we call tandems (dual front axels) that winch up 50 tons and move it on locations ......Check out our shit before you talk your shit ........just sayin

  • @jmecrg

My god you have no idea, if your gonna have a crack at someone else at least know what your on about. I am a heavy haulage driver out of WA and while I cant speak exactly for this load as rules and regulations swing wildly from state to state, we move gear of this nature a lot.

1900 HP you say? If you had half a clue the star at the front will be running either a C15,C16 or Signature either at 550 or 600 horses and the old EA9 thong slapper at the back will be either 500 or 525.

  • @TonkaTuffMofo i was repling to 625acert`s comment and trust me i know heavyhaul

  • @jmecrg

You mention a KW? Where in this video is there a Kenworth?

44k rear end? LOL 6 wheel tippers run around here with 44's.

The average in WA is 50's and 52's, that's for triples mind you running up to 140 ton. For a shift such as whats in this video you'd be running a burleo or sissu ass end and joey box (2nd gearbox) in WA with ratings up and over 70,000 pounds, the front truck would have a gcm around the 220 to 240 ton mark. We would only use a block truck on grades over 8 percent.

  • @jmecrg

    44k rears? KW? What kenworth?

Tippers run around with 44k rears over here mate. If that was a WA shift the star at the front would have a Burleo or Sissu Ass end with a rating of 70,000 pounds or more plus a Joey Box (a secondary gearbox).

GCM of the truck would be 220 to 240 ton. The Block truck would only be utilized for grades over 8 percent, otherwise the star would be all on her own with a total gross around the 200 ton mark.

  • @jmecrg

  • i found one for ya search "sucking up pits on tandem" here on you tube that mud tank weighs at the least 42 tons the rears on this truck are 70k or 80k the bed is probly 40ft and im positive this truck is in the USA and in the oil field ever day ..just sayin

  • checkout..... bigworm222.....and many of his video posts will prove your statement below totaly wrong

  • i hate to keep on proving you wrong 625acert but search "diamond heavy hauler" and then put crisco on your foot (it makes it easier to get it out of your mouth)

  • What's that thing on the platform?

  • Considering gross is 240tons its not bad, the puller aint bone stock either.

  • the transit van could have pulled the 2 trucks the trailor and the ute up the hill

  • The rest of the world would be a wasteland without American equipment. Check out the lend-lease of WWII. The US built all the support to win the war.

  • the only reason america had the resources to build all the lease/ lend was the simple fact they were not engaged in a war unlike britain&her otherallies the only reason you yank pricks joined in the war 3years later was because the japs had the cheek to bomb pearl harbour &spoil your parties bunch of yank or should it be wank tossers

  • Yeah, except for a pair of soviet tanks and such stuff.

  • any more vids like this one from hha

  • love the sound

  • This is Amierican power??? Scheisse inaczej mowiac gowno ...!

  • @Pawel8510

but built in australia. alot more grunt then the american classes.

  • @Jizzem66 Aussies would still be riding around on the backs of Kangaroos if it wasn't for US built equipment and technology.

  • but theres nothing in these machine that was built in us. auzzies make there own shit. yous just invented them. and the auzzies made them. not better though

  • yeah but we have to re engineer your products to keep them reliable, there should be a saying 'built like an aussie mack truck'

  • hats off to you boys.good job.

  • Love the mack super liner at the back !

  • Awesome vid, got to hand it to you Aussies you got some good shit over there..

  • that's a cat 994 loader, it's the biggest one they make!!! thats some heavy shit!!!

  • It took two trucks to pull that load. The bucket loader was stripped almost to the frame no tires or bucket and it took two trucks to pull that.

  • Its a 994 and knocked down like that it probably goes 130 ton you muppet

  • A v-8 Mack is all noise, sucks fuel and grenades a lot. 2 macks to do what one truck with a Cat engine set up properly can do.

  • ten z tyłu go pcho?

  • thats some hectic shit! DIESEL POWER!!!!!!

  • brilliant.

  • man listen to those trucks work. Reminds me listening to a group of hard workin SD40-2s pulling a loaded freight up the Sand Patch.

  • amazing that these tractors don't overheat doing all that work at low speeds

  • 1 gear an floor it :))

  • I think it smells of burned clutch in the truck.

Just after a while i realised what they had on the load...

Sweet mother of jesus.... Its not only huge, its a giant..

Zeus go home and king kong go blow your self. hehe ;)

  • Haha! You're funny I like you!

  • i bet going down hill is fun

  • oi oldstar1952 u try gettin in a truck lke that with about 150t on the back and u tell me why u will be goin so slow drongo

  • nice cruzer

  • thats a job for a kta 1150 cummins you would only need one truck

  • *lol* It sounds to me as it was a job for one truck! The pusher was doing all the work! Check and listen! ;-)

  • old school....respect!

  • heavy hauling at its best

  • WOW,thats awesome,I have BIG respect for truckies australia wide..Mate those rigs are workin hard?Or do they just look and sound that way?

  • Both

  • Nice Upload, Nice Rigs And Dam That's A Massive FE Loader ;)

  • That's still gotta weigh 200,000 to 300,000 pounds! I've run a 992 at 200,000 lbs but the 94 is twice as big! Great video!

  • wow,nice video,thats a new one on me.....

  • the cat 994 weighs 423,000 lb, but this one has no tires, bucket etc. but it´s probably heavy enough.

  • Oh my god, AWESOME!

  • that second rig is helping to push that load is so heavy that it could stop by itself without the rigs using the breaks

  • Didn't notice them taking much of a break.

  • is the truck on the back just for extra brakes? yes cool video. thanks.

  • cool video!

  • fuckong power !!! Very Nice

  • Ca'nt quite see in the video,is the push bar jointed at both ends so that the rear truck has to steer to follow the load OR is the bar an A frame which steers the truck and the second driver just operates the pedals?

  • first guess

  • i think its just for extra braking.

  • due to the excessive weight of the loader on board, the lead truck does not have enough gearing to pull that load up a hill so a second truck is used to halve the load on the lead trucks driveline

  • sure enough. i can hear both trucks.

  • I weld the front and rear sections of the 994, Thank you for letting me see what it takes to get one to the mine.

  • How much do they weigh?

  • imagine stopping downhill

  • yeah man stopping downhill or starting uphill would be hell. you'd have to get used to the smell of burnt clutch lol

  • couldn't do this in the US

  • Damn....what gear was you in....i know you were ready to get rid of that heavy piece of shit!....give that clutch leg a rest

  • This 994 is fantastic!

  • Lovely sounding trucks i love them!

  • and that´s only the half of the 994!!!

  • that pusher truck sounds badass.

  • 500hp mack v8...i love that sound. 5 Stars!!

  • that push truck got a really nice to sound too it.

  • that is one nice western star

  • another outstanding video... thanks a lot for posting 'em!!

  • 2 questions 4 u guys

    1 what's the weight of the 994?

2 what's under the hood of the mack?

  • The 994 weighs 240 tonnes

  • thanks,by the way, this machine seems to be too havy damn

  • Hello!!

I Love this Video is Awesome!!

    Meny Greetings from Germany !!

    Sebastian

  • Nice vid! Do you have any videos of gangsters paradise? best truck in Aus...

  • The aussies have some really nice heavy haul rigs!!! Great video.

  • nice video

  • nice sounding v8 on the pusher truck

  • Ah,, didn't see it that way, i used to work for a steel mill, and the stuff they did to move equipment was meant to be safe, but when you figure in all the other things that had to be done to transport equipment, it was actually safer to just hop in and drive the blasted thing

My uncle lost his foot to a tire being dropped on it, they had thirty miles to transport the truck all the roads were wide enough all they had to do was drive it no hills no crossings

this was in flood plains so no bridges

  • In the other video it was stated that it was being moved only 15 KM, not trying to sound smart or anything, mostly curious though, why not simply escort the vehicle while it moves under it's own power seems like a lot less time would be invested for such a short move. Taking off the wheels etc had to be an all day job right?

  • the built up weight of the machine was 230 ton - there were several bridge structures that would not take the point loading of that weight on 4 tyres - 60 ton per tyre. the big trailer allowed the weight to be spread over the bridge structures evenly.....

the thought did cross my mind to move it under the cover of darkness..... but i did not want to fall through any bridges!!!!!!!!!!

  • Super Video Thanks

  • How heavy is it?

  • The Auctual Load weight is approx 165 ton - All up weight - approx 260 ton

  • i cat sono i migliori in assoluto

  • Mack Didn't care about getting the business? I know what you mean.

Without trying to be a smart-arse,I've driven every Super-Liner except the HD.The build quality and level of service just isn't there anymore.

  • fuck.Takie coś to tylko w ameryce!

  • Beautiful trucks mate

I have got the poster of "High Roller" that came in the Truckin' Life magazine

  • Hay guys saw that sitting in the yard at ritche bros about a week befor you posted this as i was loading a smaller lorder did you have to go over the speed bumps or did you use the other gate to get in to the qurray

  • We went in the main entrance over the speed bumps - not the best of locations to be taking big machines...

  • Class outfit lads,Star car is nice but old Mack sounds sweet.

  • its funny how some of those pipes and machines dont look real heavy but you can here both trucks really working, can i ask why you got a star and not another newish mack super liner titan or trident

  • Mack did not cut a good enough deal at the time - overall Mack didn't care about getting the business at all really....

The Western Star has been a very good truck - the only let down is the air bag suspension.

  • Top vid!! goes to show how much teamwork goes into a push-pull operation!

  • Top outfit you guys are running.

  • Thanks Mate

  • Top stuff!!

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
