  • Raw chicken is just as dangerous for dogs as it is for humans. I used to give till my vet told me not to.

  • aww dachsy's are so cute. Raw diet is fine, they won't die or get worms etc. My dogs have eaten raw for years and lived to a very ripe old age and had no health problems.

  • That looks good. I wish my immune system could handle raw meats. I'm jelly. =[

  • I like how u got big bowl to let puppies to eat, they all got their own places and don't need to fight for food. Good job!

  • Look at the one at 7 O[clock wag and wag and wag!!!

  • Love the tail wag going on! Doxies rule.

  • @stevenwelch123 For raw feeding purposes heart is considered a muscle meat.

  • A Heart is not an organ? Dislike

  • Awww they are so cute and squeaky I have a bulldog she's so quiet lol

  • so cute i have a bid dashound

  • Haha the black puppy could barely walk after eating

  • So cute! It's obvious they are well taken care of. :)

  • @abarela79 is the opposite of a puppy mill, she its one of the BEST breeders I've ever seen, don't judge until you have proof.

  • I JUST PUKED A RAINBOW *-* Very cute xDDDD

  • if you ever looked on the label of the shit most people buy in the super market its 90% Grain .. What Fucked up dog in the nature walks out to a Cornfield and Nom noms it all :. Dogs should be fed Raw meat not Vegies and corn ..

  • hey are they purebread or pound puppys???

  • @CAntiHackReport They're purebred AKC miniature dachshund puppies

  • People are so stupid... "OH MY GOD DOGS EATING NATURE FOOD I AM CONFUSE!!"

  • @topsy420 It's amazing how the dog food industry has completely confused us in the last 70 years!

  • I need HELP ! my puppy is 2 months old and i want to start raw meat... but i'm confused how much should i feed and how many times i give her in a day?? I live in India, when i ask about RAW DIET all of them are like a BIG NO to raw diet...

  • @GreatDaneAthena Check out the links I put in the description of the video - they should definitely help :-)

  • @mmorlino i'm confused

  • @GreatDaneAthena Under the video you see the description of the video -- click "Show more". There's links can't post them within a comment unfortunately.

  • Look at their little tails wagging...

  • SMH. PUPPY MILL

  • @abarela79 Scratching your head = you don't understand the prey model raw philosophy? That's okay. You're very welcome to visit the link I posted within the video's description or contact me for more information. Just do me a favor and don't automatically hate something that you don't understand.

  • these are too young dude!

to eat they must have teeth!these semm to have small pins in their mouth

  • @salonikastyle No, they're not too young.

  • They are loving that meal!

  • cute

  • To cute! Can't wait till I get mine -3.

  • where their eyes open yet?

  • @compoundcoyote Their eyes open at 2 weeks -- these puppies are 5 weeks old. So, yes, their eyes were open.

  • one dog wags his/her tail

  • @compoundcoyote Yup, they're pretty excited!

  • I have fed raw prey model diet to adult dogs. Never to puppies. Do you notice any issues with giving so many different animal proteins in their first meal? Do they ever get diarrhea? My adults get different animal proteins but they are used to it and healthy adults. Great job with your nutrition and dog breed choices :D Do you breed wirehaired?

  • @wolfsnaps888 I thought I responded to this - I'm so sorry!

No, no issues with feeding so many proteins. When puppies go from the best of raw (mother's milk) to raw meat/organ/bone there's no transition period necessary.

    I do breed wirehairs! :-)

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cccuuuuuuttttttteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! lol...

  • aww look at the black puppie's tummy at 1:20 then look at it at 2:35

    it got so big!!

  • what if you give them raw sauage

  • @goobeylol No, you want to avoid all seasoning. Raw, unseasoned and uncooked is the way to go.

  • I heard you're supposed to avoid ground meat and only feed raw cuts, organs and bone.

  • @PHILLYHEAT215 Well, for dental benefits is is best to give them whole cuts of meat. It's mental stimulation as well. In the case of these little puppies ground is much easier. However, when dealing with cats you must give whole cuts of meat, as grounding destroys the taurine in the meat which is absolutely necessary in a cat's diet.

  • This diet is fine for them. You assholes making comments like "they'll get worms" or "are you nuts feeding them that?" don't know shit about dogs and their natural diet.

  • someone watched to much tv...lol

  • When there is competetion, they will over eat.

  • Read what ratgrl98 wrote, it's very important to cut them off at a certain amount.

  • Puppies will over-eat until they are too full, and it's not good to let them eat until they are "Full" as they don't know when to stop.

  • @ratgrl98 Nope, puppies do very well at regulating themselves. They're okay, no worries! I feed them this way until about 10 weeks, at which point I measure out their meals. Thanks for your concern, but I've been feeding them way for over two years with no problems.

  • Also, be careful of the amount they are consuming, they CAN get obese even on raw.

  • Turkey is poisoness to dogs and can potentially kill them. NEVER feed it to them.

  • @3DOBot Is that right? Hmm... In my 2 years of feeding PMR I've never had any issues -- neither have the hundreds of people I have chatted with who have fed raw. Never heard of turkey being poisonous to dogs... Many of my fellow raw feeders have been feeding it for 10+ years.

Where have you heard this? What has been your personal experience?

  • @mmorlino I'm talking about trurkey which IS poisoness to dogs, at least when it's cooked. But that doesn't mean raw turkey is an exception as it might have a long term effect on them. I'm perfectly fine with the raw diet, I just wanted to give a heads up. If you feel it's safe to give them raw turkey, go ahead, if not, but still want to know for sure, ask a vet. Also monitor how much they eat, there's a difference between full and stuffed. They shouldn't be puking.

  • @3DOBot Can you tell me where your advice comes from? Expertise, experience, etc?

  • @mmorlino My mother who has lived with them all her life.

  • @3DOBot But you have no experience with the prey model raw diet?

  • @mmorlino I've done a lot of research, and have given my dogs raw, yes. I plan on getting them soley on raw as soon as possible.

  • so glad i found out about this today...once i figure out a diet routine im doing this!

  • what type of bones are used? do you grind it yourself? can you use extra lean ground beef and mix in the rest ?

  • @Earssss In this particular mix it's chicken necks. You can use extra lean ground beef - be careful of anything purchase from the store, though, as it's usually pretty heavily enhanced (with sodium) and can cause allergic reactions.

  • boy look out for the poop lol

  • @Earssss Nope, on a PMR diet they utilize almost everything they eat. So they poop very minimally - once a day, very small - and because it's all organic and natural ingredients, it dissolves into dust in about 3 days. I NEVER pick up poop, and my yard looks great and smells great.

  • @mmorlino ,, sounds like it works really well then,,, cute little guys

  • Shouldn't they have needed to drink milk instead of meat. Aren't they too young to eat?

  • @Music2Love555 They went straight from mother's milk to what you see above. I introduce it at about 5 weeks old and for the next week they get both PMR (prey model raw) and mother's milk. At 6 weeks I start to wean from mother's milk completely.

  • You need some veggies in that meal, check out BARFdotCOM

  • @JASONANDTRACI You'll notice from the title of the video that I feed Prey Model Raw, not BARF. So, no veggies, fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, etc is included in my dogs' diet.

Dogs are designed nose to tail to eat, digest, and utilize meat, bones, and organs to the fullest capacity. I do believe that dogs CAN pull nutrients from fruits and veggies that have been cooked and pureed, but nothing that they can't or won't get even more efficiently and naturally from a diet of raw animal parts.

  • @mmorlino Excellent, gotta love those puppies , LUCKY. We finally replaced the kibble diet with the BARF diet and have seen excellent results with our Dachshund after having sooooo many dogs die with cancer. PEOPLE STOP FEEDING YOUR DOGS DRY KIBBLE FOOD THERE'S FORMALDEHYDE IN IT AMONG OTHER THINGS. The raw meat sounds logical, so good luck to you and many years of healthy dogs.

    Stay Safe

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • @JASONANDTRACI

mmorlino is right (mostly because they quoted me! LOL)

Look at their jaw structure, teeth, digestive tract, an nutritional needs. You will find that they do not have flat molars to grind plant matter. Their jaw does not move side to side, only up and down. They act as scissors, and are designed to rip and tea meat, and crush bones... but are ineffective at crushing and breaking the cellulose cell walls, rendering most raw plant matter useless nutritionally.

  • @JASONANDTRACI Actually dogs are Carnivores not Omnivores so there really is no need for veggies, if they can't eat it whole...what's the point? I know in the past when my dogs ate vegetables, they came out (pooped) just as they went in. Why feed something you have to blend or puree in order for them to digest them? My 3 pups are very happy eating just thier Prey Model Raw. 80% meat, 10% bone, 5% liver & 5% other secreting organs.

  • That one on the bottom left is loving it!

  • Is it expensive? On a separate note..is it true that weenie dogs are or were used for hunting? I have a weenie but she is very lethargic and often looks like she has the blues. She is healthy so I wonder why she looks sad.

  • @Hollylovesbeauty7 It can be very inexpensive or right on line with the expensive kibbles. Just depends on how you go about getting it. Some people who are very good at getting good deal pay an average of about 60c a pound. I pay an average of 95c a pound and get it through easier, more traditional methods (ie: from suppliers like Texas Tripe, SAD Dog Sushi, and East Poultry).

  • @Hollylovesbeauty7 Dachshunds were used for hunting badgers, that is true. Some dogs don't have the spirit of the original dachshund - just happens over the years through the breeding. I have several that most definitely do and a few that don't.

  • @Fr3edom89 Yes, heart is a GREAT muscle to feed! Just not fed as an organ.

  • If I may ask, how did you ground up the bone so small? Blender?

  • @phazon1029 I actually buy it from a local company (google SAD Dog Sushi) already ground up. BUT, you can purchase a meat grinder for very cheap on eBay or Craigslist.

  • @mmorlino Thanks for the quick response! Ima look for one!

  • uh hello worms are found in the gut and digestive tracts of pork or other animals. she isnt feeding her puppies guts so quit complaining. while ur puppy only lives to be like 10 years old because of the crappy commercial foods this lady will have puppies living to their twenties. raw food is the way to go!

  • OMGoodness, look at those little tails wagging away.

  • lol they started eating right away xD theyree SOO CUTEE and ADORABLE!!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I have 2 week old puppies and I'm doing research on how to transition them in a few weeks when they are weaned. Thanks again.

  • Dogs do NOT get worms from eating a raw, natural, species appropriate diet. They contract worms from infected dogs or eggs that were shed onto the ground.

  • Awesome pups! Love the little dude (gal?) wagging its tail as it dives in.

You morons who are spouting off about worms are clueless. Get your facts straight before posting such idiotic nonsense. PMR is the best thing you can do for your dog and anyone who thinks otherwise is simply uninformed.

  • Great video! We too feed Raw & our dogs love it! They look great & have gorgeous teeth too!

  • So cool! I'm so happy more people are learning the awesome benefits of of feeding a raw diet! Thanks for sharing!

  • hello they can get worms

  • @dreemluver29

This is kind of a blanket statement. Yes, dogs can get worms. If what you're saying, "PMR is the direct cause for dogs getting worms" then 100% absolutely false. Google "raw myths" and click the first option there. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions -- molly@morlinos.com

  • I have been feeding my dogs the prey model raw diet (raw meat, organs and bones) for almost 2 years -- many have been feeding for 10 or more years. NEVER any worms.

  • are you a breeder?

  • @jamyee Yes I am

  • this owner must want her puppies to develop all types of worms

  • Nope, raw meat doesn't cause worms. Feel free to do some research before you post. Google "Raw fed myths"

  • @mmorlino I cant believe how ignorant some people are.... Dont you hate how some people think they know EVERYTHING...

  • why would you feed ur dogs raw meat thats disgusting

  • @dreemluver29

Dogs are carnivores - carnivores eat and THRIVE on raw meat, organs and bones. I want my dogs and puppies to thrive.

Feel free to e-mail me at molly@morlinos.com and we can discuss this further.

  • The rail of the one at the lower left...happy as can be!

  • @mykylc what a happy lil vegemite. adorable.

  • raw is the only way to go.

  • I don't have a problem with the other raw meat, but can't they get sick from eating raw pork? I always thought pork had to be thorougly cooked. Just wondering. :)

  • @onewomanandsomesongs i was reading up on the prey model diet and you can freeze things like pork i think it was for like a couple of weeks or sumthing and its supposed to kill the parasites thats what i read anyway, hope that helps

  • @taylorwarrior2000

Thanks, that's a good answer, and it makes a lot of sense. :)

  • @onewomanandsomesongs Pork from the butcher is totally safe -- it is fit for human consumption, therefore is fit for our dogs! However, if you have wild game pork, make sure to freeze it for two weeks :-)

  • haha looks disgusting, but they sure liking it :)

  • i saw my minature dach eat 20 mice, then kill 100 more in less then 2 hours as we were clearing bails of oats. "baby" was a madman.

    WORKING DOGS, people.

  • Wow they really love it! Cute pups btw.... I don't have a dog yet but I plan on feeding them the prey model diet... I'm just kind of scared of pork, but will definitely try chicken and beef!

  • People don't seem to understand that raw diet is good for small dogs too :)

  • @quarterpastcrazy This is very true! It's so common for a raw diet to be fed to big dogs, because people "see" wolves in them more than they "see" wolves in small dogs. When, in reality, the DNA, the jaw/teeth structure, the benefits - it's all the same, no matter what we visually see!

  • LOOOL "LOOK AT THAT TUMMY." Good for you for feeding your pups raw!

  • raw O_O
