I can appreciate a good platform regardless make, but the fact is, hardly any imports actually run 9's and 10's whereas it's not a surprise when a well built domestic does. Even with 473hp to the wheels, I'm not running close to 9s and 10s. It's easy to throw out track times, it takes a serious ride to cut 10s And these guys with these slow imports are the majority yet they act like they drive a Porsche.

@KamikazeC1991 I used to have an LS1 Formula and now I have an SC300 with a 2JZGTE swap. I can appreciate a good platform regardless make, but the fact is, hardly any imports actually run 9's and 10's whereas it's not a surprise when a well built domestic does. Even with 473hp to the wheels, I'm not running close to 9s and 10s. It's easy to throw out track times, it takes a serious ride to cut 10s And these guys with these slow imports are the majority yet they act like they drive a Porsche.

In the end it all depends on the driver and the type of race a drag strip usually but not always its a v8 but on a track the samller 4cylinder so it all depends on wat kind of racing u want to do me i prefer track racing thats wat real drivers do

@TheMugenboy I dont think I was insulting the car nor owner. I just stated that car seemed like a full blown race car. Which when I build them pretty much no parts are original. I know 99% of people attack these cars but I was not. A good friend has one. He built well. No ricer fart can no stickers nor cheap bumpers. It looks very stock and its turboed It looks like it came that way from the facotory Very nice. Take it east killer

attention honda haters: hondas do not need to push 300hp or 500+hp to be fast give it 200 and you will beat cars with double the power. and its sad no one will admit that. a slightly modded and tuned k20(200whp) will destroy a twin turbo supra pushin 400+whp. its just all power to weight ratio.

@hippofries i've seen that video, but wheres the proof that car is only puting out 200hp all it said was k20a hatch built by midwest automotiveworks vs 400hp supra, and on top of that wheres interior??? i know that supra was full interior, so if that supra was striped the same as that civic, supra would win with a better boostcontroller too, im not doubting k20a in hatches, just need more then 200whp more closer to 240whp yes i think it will smoke a 400whp supra

@hippofries woah, come on, get real, a supra isn't THAT much heavier. im a power to weight believer but even a thousand pounds doesnt compare to DOUBLE the power, and WAY more bottom end power. my ae86 is the ultimate lightweight, but I'm not going to go race 200HP civics, even though they are a LITTLE BIT heavier, a stock 120Hp 4age isnt enough, MAYBE 160 will give it a run. you're totally exaggerating.
