  • @Mwtorres24, yes

  • I've always admired the P99.

  • we both have P99's and love Hondas

  • is the p99 full size comfortable to conceal in a undertucked holster???

  • Thanks, ill go with it, even though i like the look of p99 more

  • Thanks! I was always wanted one, and was planning to get it this weekend, but now im thinking if i should get PPQ instead?!

  • @999emin They're both great guns.. i've had 2 of the P99s, one in QA and one in AS and i've held but not shot the PPQ. All three are great. If i had to choose one it probably would be the PPQ

  • Nice! It doesn't have safety??

  • @999emin Correct no manual or thumb type safety. There are safeties however, like the one on the trigger.. the striker drop safety and the out of battery safety.

  • Radio, Im thinking of getting the compact version of the P99 but should I look for the AS or QS?

  • @DavidAnimal86 ..for a carry pistol i'd probably go with the QA.. it's a light DAO and under stress for a self defense gun the constant pull is better i think. The AS is a very light pull single action almost like a cocked and locked 1911.

  • @radioqrp Thank you for your input, all the best.

  • 1:10

why would you check to see if the gun was clear when you were about to put a full clip in there and engage the weapon?

  • @DantheAuthor Valid question. I check for clear more often than others i think. Also out of habit because i dry fire every day with a variety of my handguns. I usually have a snap cap in the chamber and they don't extrract very well so if i have a loaded mag and ready to chamber a round it may jam. At home i check the chamber everytime i pick up the pistol, so more out of habit for me than necessity in the situation you saw. Thanks for watching and being so observant!

  • in turkey this gun is 3500$. + 1500 $ license for 5 years.dammmmm

  • @obel81 wow... that's terrible..got to be rich i guess there to have one.. that's too bad.. hopefully there are some guns that are good but affortable there.. thanks for watching!

  • How much is the gun including the holster

  • @TheFryer18 New this gun with night sites would be about $700, no NS about $625, used $550 or so here in New England. The Blackhawk Serpa holster is $45. Blackhawk sells a cheaper version called the Sportsman Serpa for around $30, it's polymer as opposed to carbon fiber of the original. Both good holsters.

  • The real shit, not some gay airsoft gun.

  • Sounds like a cannon

  • Wow those are some small targets for 80 feet. That must be a good tightly built pistol. I'm considering the p99c AS model this demonstration was helpful.

  • @smartguy104 Thank you. I shot another video with a glock 17, another great pistol but i wasn't able to hit near as many as with the Walther. The AS trigger really is so much smoother that i was able to keep the sights on target compared to the glock. It's one of the best trigger/fire control system i've ever used.

  • i got the bb gun version!

  • @swiffblastin I hear the BB gun version of the 99 is quality and fun to shoot..

  • @radioqrp Is it possible for your trigger finger to be really fast and like shoot 15 bullets in like 4 seconds? or is there a malfunction that would happen if you shoot it that fast?

  • Wie schlecht er schießt ey

  • Really impressive shooting. The P99 will be my next hand gun. I currently have a Springfield XD in 40. Have yo\u ever compared the two as far as accuracy?

  • I have a question for you about the P99, have you ever accidentally pressed on the magazine release buttons , because they are placed right on the side of the trigger-guard .

  • @kakasanti Never pressed the mag release accidentally. This system is very similar to the USP trigger guard mounted ambi release. I've carried USPs concealed for years and never dropped the mag accidentally. The system is great because with my medium sized hands I can release the mag with thumb, index finger or both at the same time (which is how i normally drop the mag on either the USP or the P99. Be aware that the P99 comes in two different styles depending on the year made, long or short.

  • @kakasanti P99 mag release is specifically designed to address accidental mag release. This was by request by law enforcement in Germany. However, it takes to training to get used to if you're accustomed the press button mag realease on other pistols.

This is one the best pistols in 9mm I have ever carried/used.

  • Do a table top review, we need some closeup of that baby. I'm thinking about buying one if they come in compact.

  • @kakasanti Thanks for the great idea of a table top review of some of my handguns.. too cold here in maine to do the outside range videos. Unfortunately i sold the walther.. I shouldn't have, i get more comments and questions about the p99 than any other video i have. I have many, so one had to go when a rare pistol came up for sale. Oh well... I'm going to make a table review of one of my glocks and the mods i've made to it.

  • @radioqrp I cannot believe you sold it, a lot of people gonna be disappointed, including me. Anyway, i subscribed and will be coming back for the tabletop reviews....Happy shootin!.

  • @kakasanti I know me too.... I have too many handguns, especially 9mm so something had to go.. oh well. I used the $ to get an HK 45 compact.. mint used. I'll be doing a desktop review of it and many other handguns..

i'll probably start with a series 70 1911 goverment model.

  • No offence but is this bad accuracy on the shooters part or is it the gun? Im debating on the p99 9mm or the glock 19.....

  • @mattdickerson17 Thanks for watching. My glock 17 video is even worse! Standing at 80ft off bench is difficult for most. Doesn't matter tho because glock 17, 19, walther p99 are more accurate than most can shoot. Combat night sites on both are meant for fast close work.... i'd say center mass easily out to 80ft if ur good. But is that justified for self defense? More important between the 19 and the 99 (i own both) are hand fit, mag release location, reliability, followup shots, weight, trigger

  • @radioqrp Sorry it took me so long to get back, it appears youtube doesn't email me when I get a reply anymore. I recently for the p99 with the AS trigger for $450 its a nice gun and very accurate. I have shot the 19 before and can say they have about the same accuracy now that I have been able to compare (the p99 just a tad bit more accurate). Anyways thanks for the response, happy shooting.

  • @radioqrp , does the Walther P99AS really have true double action capability, i.e it has second strike capability just in case of a dud round that fail to ignite you can re-pull the trigger till it fire?

You cannot do that on most striker fired pistols. You do the Tap rack and bang drill.

    Thanks in advance.

  • @kakasanti Yes it does have the restrike capability.. you can just keep pulling the trigger without racking the slide. Though it is much stronger trigger pull needed than the cocked position after firing or racking slide.

  • Next time do a recoil demonstration video so we can see how an average male handle the gun.

  • @mattdickerson17 If i could only have one it would be the 19. Conventional mag release, tested reliability the word over, easy access to parts, light weight. 99 is light too and a fantastic gun too. The 99 is more accurate becasue of the AS trigger. If you got the QA trigger it would be no better than the glock. I've owned the QA and sold it. Getting back to your questi.. best i could do with combat pistols is 5 or 6" at 80ft... and i'm happy about that.... translates to 2" at 22 ft room distanc
