i ve got a c 200 kompressor December 2004 with 163 hp and i drived up to 258 km/h !!!

Well,I've got C230Kompressor(2005) with the same motor(1.8lit.- M271) but I have 192bhp and 260Nm.I made once 252km/h which is OK for 1,8 engine?0-100=8,1sec. in auto.trans.Great car with fully AMG pkt. on 18'rims with 225 on the front and 255 in a back.

You right, is a nice sound, 238 km/h for a 4-cylinder engine and 184 hp is not bad, backward, excellent ! but I would like to make a 1 vs. 1, the E280 CDI from my father against your C200 Kompressor, I would win the E280 CDI, because it is a V6 3.0 Engine with 190 hp and 7-speed automatic gearbox, and yesterday I started with a 243 km/h: D

@MercedesFUN1 probably you would win, because my Sportcoupe has "only" 163 hp, not 184 (this newer engine was mounted only in CLC since 2008). I also reached 243 km/h - only few days after recording this video. I think it's still very good V-max for stock 1,8 liter engine with 163 hp. Your's father E 280 CDI is weaker in high revs (cause it's diesel), but anyway it has higher V-max.

@c180kuser You're right, it is weaker at high rpm, is the opposite, your C200 Kompressor has high torque at high rpm (nm) and the E280 CDI high power at high rpm (hp). Greetings :D

@MercedesFUN1 Well to begin with, you should know that the E class and C class can mount the exact same engine, the fact that you dad paid more money for a better engine doesn't mean that you couldn't do that with a C class..The only difference betwin C and E class is the size of the body,so if we were to mount the exact same engine to the E and C the C would easily win since the E is way larger and weighs more...

@MercedesFUN1 , thanks a lot :) Maybe in summer I'll record new video showing acceleration of my Sportcoupe. Finally I've got proper camera, but Mercedes now is on winter tires. I love this sound too... Especially when it's cold, it sounds almost like V8 :) No one, who heard that sound, thinks it's so small engine under the hood :)

- 200 km/h - c.a.13 l/100 km

- 220 km/h- c.a. 17 l/100 km

- 243 km/h (v-max I've ever reached) - c.a 23 l/100 km

Probably you can drive faster than 220, even 235, because my car is also completely stock. Few days after making this video i drove up my C200 K to 243, but it took a lot of time and petrol... :D

how long, cuz i can drive in limited roads up to 160 km/h and there is a Radar every 5 km

if i began with 160km/h can i get the 240 before the next radar ?

It takes about 19 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 160 km/h. But acceleration from 160 to 240 takes about 50 seconds, so thats a looooot of time :(( If you began accelerate from 160 right after radar, you should reach 240 after about 2,9-3 km, so it should be enough to start braking before next radar... But you have to remember: at 240 km/h you make 1 kilometer every 15 seconds :) So when you reach this speed you should spot radar in 30 seconds :D

Ok - I´ll hook a vid of my c200k (w203 after mopf) up and you will start to grin ;) cause it goes a bit better than yours... just as a hint, use the car in diagnos modus if you wanna go fast (but only if you can handle a car without abs and esp)

hmmm if you got a car after the mopf with sportpackage, than drive it in diagnose modus, you can reach(no lie) gps measured 268 (3 persons in it - the car showed 270) - alone it goes to 280 but i got no gps sys in that test... also your accleration will grow, best one in diag mode was a 6,9 also with gps proofed, will upload the vid in the upcoming week!

True that... We have a 300SEL 1990 model with a electric back seat!!! We HAD E280 with ABS+Central lock+Electric windows and Sunroof and system called webasto if Im not wrong the car had a timer and did start automatically so in winter when u get up and get ready to drive off in a cold whether this 1981 model E280 was warm as DUBAI =) Yes now we have C200 compressor bull crap and it is just a standard benz with a star in front of it sad but true. Must get a 6 cyclinder 3.2 lt + or its just shit

Sadly it is true, please dont follow the opinion of people who get paid to say modern Benz are best acrs ever, actually they are not better than a Ford Mondeo..thats sad.

If you get into an SLK or CLK and touch the climate control buttons you thik you are touching a videogame console I cant live with that "CYBER BENZ" feeling sorry.

I hope you are joking :) On this video it takes 8,8 sec. to accelerate 0-100 km/h. In 16 sec. it accelerates to 150 km/h.

I shift usually at 5500-5700 rpm, because C200 Kompressor reach max power at 5500 rpms, so pointless is higher shifting :) Your C230 Kompressor reaches max power at 5700 rpms, so you can shift higher than me.

Wylacz ESP moze osiagniesz lepsze przyspieszenie.

Było wciśnięte ESP OFF - zresztą pali się kontrolka :) A niechciało mi się bawić z całkowite odłączanie wszystkich systemów - tzw. tryb diagnostyczny.

Poza tym przyśpieszenie 0-100 km/h na tym filmiku zajmuje 8,9 sekundy (mam też film na którym robię to w 8,7 s.), a wg danych fabrycznych potrzeba na to 9,1 s. Tak więc przyśpieszenie nie było takie najgorsze :) Trochę gorzej z tym rozpędzaniem powyżej 200 km/h, bo cały czas musiałem hamować, bądź zdejmować nogę z gazu :((

na obrotomierzu powinna sie palic jescze jedna kontrolka na czerwono :)ale nie powiem Ci od czego bo nie wiem.

Na obrotomierzu jedyną czerwoną kontrolką jest przypomnienie o zapięciu pasów :) Zresztą poza tą zapaloną kontrolką ESP OFF oraz ABS, to pozostałe nie dotyczą systemów wspomagających jazdę. W modelach przed liftingiem mogła to być kontrolka LIM, ale w nowszych już tego nie było...
