  • Incredible remix!

  • @DavyMacaroni

    This is not a remix.

It really is the battle music in Tales of Phantasia.

  • i dit,nt knew the mmc5 could generate such cool sound effects, i was aspecting only 2 ugly square waves, damm i wich the us ,eu mmc6 chip version also supported external sound.

  • @johneymute

The MMC5 is just only 2 Square wavs.He really utilized the triangle channel and noise generators really well for drums. He also used the dpcm Bassline which actually sounded good.

  • This is great the way it is, but it's made even better because it doesn't use that GXSCC bullcrap!

  • this is kick-ass, you should make more :)

  • Where can I get the .NES file of this?

  • Te lo has currado un huevo =D

    5 stars!

  • EXCELLENT! MMC5 rlz :)

  • this song sounds like it belongs in this format. not that i dislike the original

  • I Love NES Music!! This Remake is great!!

  • This arrangement is awesome! I love the dpcm Bassline and the noise drums doesn't sound too much "noisy". Good use of the squares waves for the melody it sound very close to the original.

  • I agree fully. I'm glad you enjoyed. Oh, btw for the record, I did not do this tune. But I do agree it sounds almost like the original. :)

  • it'd be awesome if TOP was remade entirely of Chiptune music.
