May I suggest you use your new look to attend the next FOMC meeting and hide the Bernanke in a closet. Then just step right up to the podium and tell everyone you were just kidding for the last couple of years and everything is MASSIVELY F*D UP! No hope of getting things back to normal but to save everyone from job losses you made a deal with wall mart and sold all assets of the US govt to them in exchange for the jobs.

What if, next time you speak with him, Mr. Paul asks you if another central bank wanted to settle a debt with the Fed in gold, would the Fed accept it? If I am not mistaken, all central banks accept gold to settle accounts. I wander what the $/oz ratio would be, the official $40 something, or the market $1600 something.
