First game i ever played on Intellivision was Thunder Castle, a great game, but it was nothing compared to the awesome Tower of Doom. Glad to see it on your list.
Tron, Tron Deadly Discs, Burgertime, Beauty and the Beast, Football (yeah... the only football game where you can control the ball in the air!!!), Empire Strikes Back (the only star wars game where the walking giants change color!!), Boxing, Atlantis. These are the games I remember the best, and had the most fun playing.
I think I have to say that Lock n' Chase was my favorite game on the Intellivision. Fun music, easy controls, and later levels moved at blinding speeds.
Astrosmash, Tower of Doom & Night Stalker! I played the hell out of them when I was a kid! Space Battle, Sea Battle, and Lock n' Chase were a lot of fun too.
INTV made a few games which played identically to Stadium mud buggies. There was one where you were on a dirt bike, and there was a version for the NES called Monster truck rally.
Wow, I'm surprised because my fave Intellivision games are far different than yours! I actually like Auto Racing. The AD&D games were great! Deadly Discs was far better than Night Stalker. Burgertime was good fun! But it was the sports games that really set Mattel apart from Atari. Football had a plethora of plays, but Major League Baseball is still one of the best Intelli games ever! Sea Battle is another fave as well as the Intellivoice B-17 Bomber! Thanks for the post!
Long live the Intellivision. Astrosmash ftw. I love that game. I got over 300k points on the gamecube version of intellivision lives, and then quit because I was getting tired. amazing game.
Dude you forgot Biplanes! That was an awesome 2 player game. Hours and hours of fun. It came on the Triple Action cartridge. What I would give for a remake...
Nightstalker and Astrosmash both kick ass though. Check out my ups, I have a few Intellivision gameplay videos on there too.
@Perilous3D True. I'm remaking the game for the PC as I speak. Got most of the physics down. It's hard to reprogram exactly without the source code. 16 directions does not work as well as 24 directions on a PC. got both planes working and the backdrop but no bullets or balloon yet. There was a remake for the Amiga...called biplanes...watch?v=FpKoMcjNhDk also origional is on "intellivision lives" for Xbox,PS2 and PC.
Can't forget Boxing and B 52 Bomber (I think thats the name). I played Intelevision when I was younger and it definetly brings back memories. Thank you.
@pdd420 It was "B-17 Bomber" :) One of the few games designed for use with the old Intellivoice module (I only specifically remember four being announced other than Bomber, which were Space Spartans (kind of an updated version of their Space Armada game), Tron Solar Sailer (or Sailor), and a Baseball game which I'm not sure was ever released.
@Gamerpigeon haha, theres a ps2 compilation disc that has nearly all the games on it, its what I used for the vid, as the ps2 controller and av ports make the video much easier!
@75bp I wouldn't recomend one unless you're quite a serious collector as the controller has to be the worst I've used, its truly horrid. Good to hear from you too
Hey, do u have a Game Cube? I was thinking about hunting one down, so I can play "Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader". That game looks like fun.
@jerryjoe88 Rouge squadron is a great game, never thought you'd hunt down a old generation console. Gamecubes are probably one of the cheapest consoles to buy, though a few of the best exclusive games are slowly increasing in price. You should be able to pick up a near perfect one for $25. Metroid prime and the Cube version of F Zero are also games you'd probably like, not many exclusive race games though.
astrosmash is the most epic game ever

Great video... but sounds like you're using the Intellivoice to record the audio.
Honorable mentions - Snafu, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Sea Battle, Tron Deadly Discs.

Frog Bog had different game modes other then the mode where you can't jump off the Lilly pad.

Intellivision was so far ahead of it's time and blew away Atari but didn't have the advertising.
I used to own one and my favorite games were Night Stalker, Burgertime and Snafu(but better if someone was playing against you)
