You can't go past an XR6t for bang for ya buck. Even the factory parts are top quality gear, and if ya poor an N/A 4.0 litre can get mid to low 13 sec quarters with bolt on mods~

@140ciat21lbs I drive one of these and for 18k car cost plus 3grand in bolt ons i have a near 600hp beast and 11second quarter. and yes i have ruined a few supras in my time. once this tuning platform takes off we will see some ridiculous power figures. We are already seeing street 4.0inline 6 at over 1200kw@wheels

Those GT's sound incredible and do come stock with 290kW but the XR6T's can up the boost and easily be over 300kW. My mate from the gym has a 370kW GT-P and it's a pig around town. You could have a 370kW F6 or XR6T and it'd be just as pleasant to drive as a stock one (especially if it's auto). :) Both are incredible cars and kick the c r a p out of what I drive.

errr, i'm not sure who said it but XR6t's have that option..you CAN buy them with the muscle bonnett (as some people call them) they aren't limited to the BOSS, XR8, FPV etc. Unless you have hawk eye's i can't see a BOSS label on the side of the Bonnett "hump" as you say either...it's anyones guess but it had to be fast enough to come close to keeping up with the blue XR6T *shrugs*
