@Biebersgurl127 im not 100% sure or how to explain it but i think because of all times the power could have gone off it had to be when michael is around, and the telephone lines being cut so they couldn't talk to anyone on the outside. and the reason why i think she left to most because at least 6 people checked on her earlier, then 3, then 2, than 1 so i guess she figured if the shape could kill all of her friends the way he did a hospital staff is no problem

00:46 had to be one of the most scariest parts of the movie. and the scariest part about it is, she's in a shock to realize that Michael Myers is her brother. if you pay close attention to her dream, it goes back when she was living with her foster parents. she also comes to visit Michael at one point in her life. thus is why she is in state of shock.
