  • There is one retard, who for some reason dislikes this video.

  • Great video! I used to live in Titusville, and I tell you, the best place to see a launch is from space park. Stand at the river. When it goes, you hear nothing. It's weird. But look at the river, you'll see a odd "ripple" come across and hit the shore. That ripple is the sound wave from the shuttle. Then you hear the launch.

  • People clap for the dumbest friggin things in the countdown. Great sound though once it's airborne!

  • Give them a break they're excited... At least they're out showing support for science instead of sitting home watching American Idol.

  • ya no kidding huh.

  • Great video !! Only saw one launch about ten years ago from Daytona Beach and that was by luck. I happened to look south and saw the shuttle rising up to the sky.

    Thanks for sharing you vid.

  • Is this from the Banana Creek viewing area?

  • Yes, it is.

  • Lovely video! I got goosebumps when I saw the clouds being lit by the Shuttle! NASA TV didn't show THAT! The clouds also made for a short show...

  • yea it was all over after a couple of secs :( its better to have a clear day launch
