If I'm having a beach wedding.. can i put on sun block?? Cus i know most people dont recomend sunblock cus it makes your face to shinny for pictures...
If you are going to be in a lot of sun and so are the pictures. Use sun block. One way to control the sunblock reflection in photos is put it on under your makeup. That will help. All the happiness!!! : )
Thank you so much for this video. I´m starting as a make up artist and I've already been asked to do a bridal mu. You´ve given me priceless information. Thanks for being such a wonderful teacher.
Chris is so professional, compare to lots of self-made tutorials in youtube, yes i agree those girls are creative and really can do "wow" makeup but, Chris is different, he does his teaching simple and professional, also the tricks and tips, i really learn a lot by only view 3 of your videos, im still catching up. Thanks and bow!
Hello makeupgourmet you are fantastic at what you do. I do wedding makeup also and still learning alot. You have showed me a few tricks of the trade thanks. I must say you make brides look so beautiful when you are done. I love to watch your videos. Also I will be watching more. I hope to have a video up very soon. BYE KAREN
Hello, I am having a gothic wedding next halloween and want dramatic makeup. Our colors are red, black, and silver. Can you give me any suggestions for beautiful makeup?
I've watched all your videos and I have learned so much from you. What is the right color and make up style for women above 50, especially if they have wrinkly lids?
This is a case of not what you have but how you use it. What is most important is that you use right formula. Matte eyeshadow on brow bone, slightly shimmer shadow on ball of eye.Waterproof eyeliner. Smudge resistant lipstick. Visit makeupgourmet(dot)com/recipeofthemonth032002.html and you will get all the info you need. I wish you all the happiness in your marriage. I do wedding makeup so if you are in Northern California, look me up.
very nice! Are there any medicated chapsticks/lip balms that you would suggest to protect from the outdoors? I used to be able to get Chapstick brand (medicated lip gloss). Something not too expensive !
Hi, i just love the video, what were the colours of the eye shadow's that were used on the model. I had a look on the website but being a computer vegie i wasnt able to find the list of products and colours that were used thanks a million :-)
Awesome video! :) I have a question: my lips are always VERY dry (I never wear lipstick because my lips become flaky and the corners of my mouth have a layer of 'lip skin' coming up after a couple of hours of wear. How can I be sure to have perfect & healthy looking lips on my wedding day?
Start using a lip balm/cream asap. apply as often as you can remember. Find a very mild exfoliant and exfoliate your lips GENTLY. Try wearing just gloss as well as it will maintain a layer of protection from the environment. Lastly, use either a stain like the ones from Benefit or long-lasting lipstick from Chanel on your wedding day.
great video!! question: Should blush & contour colors be matte as well? Is shimmery highligher color for cheek bones, nose, forehead etc OK or do you suggest matte, and where do you suggest placement for hightligher color (for photography purposes)? Lastly, should lipstick be matte as well with no gloss (to avoid reflection)?
I want to apologize to the last post to this video. In an attempt to respond to your kind words, I accidentally clicked "remove" instead of "reply". Does anyone know how to retrieve a previously removed comment?
Terrific tutorial, thank you so much for posting this.
