this game is a fail when it comes to the combat system... you can't counter combos and you hit each other 24/7...in the bleach series you cut each other rarely.. the audio is shit too 4 out of 10 stars cuz of the animations that's all

see this is why i hate bleach games, they always make ichigos bankai last for only a few seconds, but ever since he got it its all he fights in, they should just start making his bankai his default fighting form!

For now, when it comes to US/EU Wii, your are out of luck. It took them forever to localize Shattered Blade, and it might take them even longer to localize this one.

Really? Man I think it's cool. It gives you a chance to focus on your strategy. Yes they can add some more depth to it. Hopefully if it gets a sequel the will.

It annoys me most because there's no much planning on movement, but it's bland when it comes to block/parry, and almost ignored when it comes to close-range attacking.

And it feels like magic with the Wiimote, until you go in for the attack... that's when it feels like mess.

Attacking seemed to be an afterthough on the GC controller, with evasion being the primary thought. In other words, it leaves the player to shoot lots of blasts, in hopes of hitting something along the way.

You might be right... maybe the people I play against are spam-happy and lack skill. But seeing as I just picked this up today, I can't say I'm any better.

So far, the only strategy I've gotten is to learn to play with the GC controller; wiimote slashing never felt right on any game other than Red Steel (but that's my personal opinion).

It sucks for me, because I learned everything on the Wiimote, and now I'm on the GCtroller. Back to square one -.-

On the Gamecube you just use the C stick. To do the melee attacks. I'm telling it's not perfect, but it's dam good and fun. Also change the camera angle.

I figured out how to attack on the GC; that's why I'm learning to use it. I'm not so much learning, but I'm adapting to not using the Wiimote. It seems awkward using special A and B attacks when the buttons aren't A and B >.>

I've stood in front of the cpu many times now dashing to the sky and back down in a desperate attempt to do something amazing. Usually, I get attacked, which brings me back to reality:

I personally think A and C-stick controls should switch places.

It's a fighting game that is trying to balance it's self. IF Ichigo gets to use Bankai the entire time. Who is going to beat him. Also uses will just try to powerup all the time.

A very simple way to play this game without having to download it and burn it, is to just buy it. You may think, it only works on Japanese Wii's and that is true, but... If you buy Freeloader,(It is a swap Disc) It allows you to play international games on your English Wii. SO much easier, and less time consuming and troublesome.

Yep, I played it on the backup loader today and it works great and is fun. The only problem is that it's in black and white. This isn't the first time this happens though. I got the game to work by replacing the isos current partion with a new patched one, built with partion builder. Do you know how I can get the colors. I will burn it again if you tell me.
