we played one of these Taiwanese high school teams during regular season, don't be fooled by the tight sets, they're the real deal and they can pound it in game too.

They aren't that good. None of them hit ten line. The one up side is at least they are all consistent.

what's so fabulous about hitting the ten feet line. It's not like it gives you double points or something. I think the fact that they're so consistent is much more inmportant

This is true, but in warmups one would expect sharper angles because the sharper you can hit the wider your horizon for placement. For instance being able to hit straight down over the block will pose more of a challenge to the backrow.

yeah, you're probably right about that. in-game hitting is always different. last year my old teams right side hitter had problems with that. he was this high jumping powerhouse but he really lacked technique, so in warmups he could hit the most ridiculous balls, but during the match he wasnt much of a hitter..

yea they suck... setter is decent butt all the hitters are whack. they got one kid who bounced a back 1... but remeber kids there isnt a block..im a libero and i can bounce a ball with no block without net

Another high school team from Taiwan just won the high school's world champion in Italy yesterday. Also, for your information, this year, Men's and Women's Champion in the high school world Championship are both from Taiwan.

yes, you are a libero, so? many people are libero, this team wasn't that great, they couldn't even go to the season off.

Funny considering American high schools don't go to that tournament... I'd take a high school team from the west coast over these guys any day. Funny that practically no one from Taiwan will come to the US for college volleyball- the best teams in the world- it's not a borders thing because Taiwan is free market- nor a visa thing- it's a talent thing. Sure they're good- but not to be compared with the best

They were decent, they got decent height and power, but they'd be exceptional hitters if they piked their bodies for extra momentum on the hit. Pretty darn good for a high school team though.

it looks nice but it isnt, every single set is tight so they would get blocked every hit in a real game, anyone can hit like that in warmup. plus they hit the net every single time

you're right, in this conpetition which included eight teams, this one is worst at hitting. Others are much better. Search "排球 3a" in youtube. there are some videos about these high school teams too. much better than this team, and the videoes are not just about pratice, but in actual games.

its just hitting lines dude...chill out. If your trying to advertise to everyone that your better than these kids, then good job. For a highschool team though, this is pretty good. Its also not fair to say all the sets are tight when its freakin warmups and the setter is setting 1 balls half the time. obviously game situations are a little different than hitting lines. besides, who doesn't try to bounce the ball during warmups? don't tell me you only aim for deep corner during warmups.
