This is a great amp but there's as much brown sound there as there is in a britney spear song.
Man @#$% you! It is a el-34 based amplfier is it not? It IS capable of brown sound when dimed is it not? I don't think i deserved that kind of criticism. When comparing to a fender or lower distortion based amplifier it could play EVH tunes with ease. Sorry for giving an opinion, but you don;t have to put a guy down for it. Just because it wasn't cranked and is using alot of it's preamp gain doesn't mean its not capable of EVH territory...

I think david brays amps do the vh and brown sound better any day then the cameron ccv , but the cameron is probably a better ultra heavy metal amp

To me, this clip sounds very EVH brown sound. Check out some other clips for some higher gain sounds. This amp is amazing!
