I remember Rodney from the days when The Odyssey was around and he used to DJ the latest and greatest in New Wave. I was only 15 years old. I used to get in with a fake ID. We all knew Rodney from The ROQ. He was always standing near the DJ booth and I would pass him on the way to the restroom. He hasn't changed a bit. In the 80's, he made music so much fun. He was always discovering talent and sharing it with his fans. Thanks Rodney for great memories. This documentary was wonderful.
I met Rodney at the Rainbow back in the mid 1970's, and went back to his Apt I remember all these really cool photos on the wall of him and different celebrities, but what stood out in my mind most, was a photo cube sitting on a side table of poloroids of David Bowie. This video brings back all those early rock memories
there once was a girl named Lorla. She ran away from home because her parents always hit her and yelled at her. She went through a graveyard. She got killed by a dead girl living there. Her spirit still walks the earth and she could be ANYWHERE. if you don't post this to at least 5 videos she will appear under your bed at exactly 12:00 midnight and slash your throat...just like how the dead girl killed her. Hurry, you only have 5 minutes
I use to bump into Rodney at Canter's all the time. What a great dude, I have bothing but great things to say about Rodney..God Bless Him..

Years ago I built some furniture for Rodney. We went over to the IHOP and had a nice dinner and hung out for awhile.
He was so nice to me....his apartment is a rock n' roll shrine
