The best man never to make it to the final. Over a million of people cheered this guy. Almost every his performance was a smash. His version of Simply Red, today, is a 100 times better than the original. His audition performance of "With a little help of my friend" was top class, Cocker wouldn't do it better.
He was the true winner. His performance in first audition was extremely fantastic and he was looking like the greatest pop-star! I am from Greece and i will remember this performance for long time...I hope that he is making a career now. Does anyone know anything about his career or not?
This is one of my favorite songs but I LOVE Danyl's rendition of it. When he adds "I need you and you and you" or asks "Where my friends?" he's directly speaking to the audience. And I love the way the audience responses back! :)

It was on the news today that Louis Walsh has asked Danyl if he wants to join Boyzone to fill the vacancy left by Stephen Gately`s death. It would certainly make people more interested in Boyzone.
Danyl made the terrible flaw of being a great singer and knowing it. That is why even though he was clearly the best singer in Xfactor he never reached the final. In the UK it seems we want our talent to be meek, shy and introverted.
But hopefully he can go to America and abroad where they love confident talented performers like him.

it is a complete disgrace that danyl johson was in the bottom two last night. he is the best singer in the competition by far. and what is even more a disgrace is cheryl cole voting to send him home not because of his singing ability but because she personally doesnt like him. i think what she did was disgusting and you could see simon cowell was raging at her.

cheryl DID vote to send him home. it had absolutely nothing to do with letting the public decide. she is there to judge his performance and she is judging the guy not on his performance but because she doesnt like him on a personal level. you can see she grudges giving the guy any praise whatsoever.
it sums up how pathetic some people are in this country when they would rather see a couple of talentless annoying twins truimph over a genuine talented act.

how is that the only fair way? she should have voted to send home he act she genuinily felt was second best which clearly she did not do. she let personal feelings get in the way of her judgement which is wrong. the only reason she said to let the public decide was because is was the only way she could get danyl eliminated. she knew that danyl was far better than miss frank but still voted to send him home
but what do you expect from someone that hasnt even got the bottle to sing live???
