  • haha ok buddy ur the one who couildnt get through the snow with u hunk of shit dodge 4x4 my grandmas mustang would go through that shit

  • @BadAssSouthernRebel what about your car? Wait a minute you probably dont have one cause you're a piece of shit redneck with zero future. If you knew two shits about diesels you'd know cummins makes the best. Stop talking and post a video of your grandpas mustang going through a few feet of snow.

  • this video would be so awesome if someone shut the chick up. i woulda smashed her car just to piss her off....totally worth an insurance claim

  • yea 4lo is for "pullin " dip shit is he pullin??? no i see him tryin to get out there for rpms which would be 4HI would be better to spin to cean the tires and eat snow learn to driver before u open ur mouth dumn fuc

  • @BadAssSouthernRebel cleaning your tires and " eating" snow wouldnt help much either, crawling seems to be best when i snowByFour, but just sayin' that you shouldnt insult others when your OPINION means nothing on something that is absolutely SHIT to drive in either way.

  • Was this ween we had like the 18 inches?

  • This is deep wet snow. This is the worst snow to get stuck in. Doesn't matter what you drive. This type snow will stuck any truck.

  • Dude... awesome! Overall, some lockers would have helped!

  • ok thanks.....

  • your tires dont mean shit if your differential is stuck on some hard pack snow, thats the dangers of driving through deep snow

  • your tires dont mean shit if you differential is stuck on some hard pack snow

  • how do you get a ram out of 4 low? someone said you have to back it up than ram the tranfer all the way thru nutreal??? ?

  • @Dojocho Any part time transfer case can get bound up on 4Hi or 4LO, especially if you've driven on a hard surface for too long. Going in reverse can help unbind the gears sometimes. Back up 5 feet, stop, put the trans in park, try to shift the transfer case out of 4LO, if still stuck in gear, back up 5 more feet and try again.

You shouldn't have to push that hard unless the linkage is really rusty and neglected.

  • @Dojocho If you shift the transfer case while the transmission is in neutral, then you generally have to shift right from low to high range, skipping neutral, or else your gears will grind, that is why I prefer doing in Park.

However, if you do end up with the transfer case in neutral, and it is grinding, just shut off the truck, wait a second, and shift in to HI.

  • thats why you need a ford

  • @meandmybuds100 what a retard. has nothing to do with brand you can watch videos of all brands stuck in snow

  • @meandmybuds100 Why? If you just look at it from a non bias perspective all every vehicle is is just a diff body frame with tires underneath of it with diff engines and those engines do the same thing the others do just some have more power to "pull things or to go faster" nothing more nothing less so being stuck in the snow if your tires are spinning you have enough power to go through it your tires just don't have the traction to make it so get new tires k thanks.

  • fuck that's a lot of snow

  • u dont want 4 low dumb ass that to much toeque youll just spin try 4 hi dude your a dumbass big truck or not snow is a bitch so stop ragging on the damn guy

  • @BadAssSouthernRebel 4HI is for high school kids. 4LO gives you both power & control. You just have to know how to let up on the "stupid" pedal.

  • LOL i live where these fuckheads are talking about Humboldt county

  • We had a Firebird some years ago with mud/snow tires. Was alright, but the car was REALLY FUCKING LOW lmao. It'd scrape hitting a damn bump in the road. How we never lost the exhaust other then it rusting off once is beyond me. We have a Grand Prix currently with Motomaster all season tires and TC. Way better car.

Anyway, tires make all the difference. Father's 2WD Ford F-150 was absolute shit in show regular tires. A pair of Goodyear winter truck tires made it much better off though.

  • does every truck owner on youtube have an IQ of 3... seriously fuck all of you, if your a retard you get stuck!

  • stfu about what truck is better, big three all the way! better than Toyota and Nissan shit!

  • its a dodge end of story

  • dodge blows

  • @fordguyf1501994 Not really, it's the driver who's at fault. Besides, I see Ford's stuck more then Dodge and Chey combined.

  • @justinlynch3 must be in a town with all retard cuz i have never seen a ford stuck.

  • @fordguyf1501994 Again it's the driver. A Ford can get stuck just as well as any other truck on the road. A Ford isn't some kind of invincible vehicle. It relies on traction and driver skill the same as any other truck. You bottom out cause the snows to deep, your stuck. You can't make a steep hill cause of ice, well that's it. You hit mud that's to soft, etc.

Now I said I see lots of Fords stuck, but that's cause lots of them are around.

  • @justinlynch3 actually my ford comes preaty close hehe I'm ready for the 2011 blizzard we WILL GET !!! I bought studed 32" snows all around and some oldschool chains bad ass with picks HEHE

  • @SuperNobama1 Again, it's not the truck, it's you. Studded tires, chains, your the one ready. Put stock tires on that Ford and see how far it go's. Trucks may vary in ground clearance, horsepower, etc. But straight to the basics, their all the same.

  • @justinlynch3 MY guess is about 3-4 feet hahahaahahahah! Fords POS goodyear RT \ S = REALLY TREDLESS TIRES I Sold them 1 month after I bought the truck ! They are ok on the dry clean roads but are totally useless on wet roads . Like i said I sold them off the truck but if It were to snow im sure I'de be going nowhere but into a ditch. That said I had a firebird with bald pirellies that stuck to ice ! xd

  • Junk lol lol!!

  • i blame the tires. my 06 ram 1500 was stock except for the 35 in baja claws and i saw more snow this year and i had no problem. now its 6in taller so its even better. dodge for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Legendarysaiyan5 tard...

  • Why are we standing around and making horrible comments about some dude trying to get unstuck in his truck? Then whine about the weather while you are out there. Wtf.

  • if you can afford a truck this nice, i dont understand how you cant afford tires to be able to get through stuff.

  • Hey at least there was that one guy shovelling...instead of those jackasses standing talking about hating big trucks

  • sometimes i just like to do that,..and make it icey for the cars

  • problem is that all the young turks want these wide mud or A/T tires. The narrower the tire the less snow gets released from the profile,,,with other words if the tire is grabbing snow you have traction...which is better achieved with a narrow winter tire (soft rubber in cold weather grabs snow)...a good snow tire performs twice as good as the rest. Btw...this is also the reason as to why a sedan with winter tires might outperform a one ton truck in snow.

  • buy a jeep

  • Jeesh that woman sounds like a total b****

  • did you get in her pant's?you did alot of sniffing

  • @yuskjr What, you think you know how to drive in the snow? Shut the hell up until you post something on here showing how its done. Jackass

  • what the diff from 4x4 low and high??? iv never had to try low

  • @youdragon 4low is for when you need toque, 4high is like when you are doing more than 40km/h or 20mph, its no different than high gear and low gear, low gear is for when going slow, high is for going fast:)

  • All you people are stupid, you obviesly havent drove in deep snow, yuo dont go slow, you go slow and then ur likely just to get stuck again so maybee yall should STFU before you make urself sound even stupider

  • @mclajam327 lol, you said stupider

  • Low just makes it easier to spin tires....

  • :o That Thing Is Acting As Sucky As A Ford.

  • He makes it look so hard. I could get my K1500 Suburban outta that no prob.

  • he is stuck because his axles are basicly plowing snow

  • he is having trouble because he is basicly plowing snow with the pumpkin of the axles

  • i lived in arcata for 18 years really is a nice place but dumapie is right

  • where is this?

I hear talking about arcadia and sacramento....

arcadia is 20 minutes away from me lol

  • Unless you respect it...

  • Some really stupid comments here.

Big truck or not, snow respects no one...

  • @170turbo what about gas and fire

  • @drh1111 Well yeah I guess that would do it lol

  • @170turbo --true dat, seen some respectable trucks owned by the white stuff.

  • @170turbo except chuck norris

  • @linkinparkmtm3020 Dont be ridiculous... everyone respects Chuck Norris. It goes without saying ;-)

  • that guy fails...you have to put it on 4x4 low...and in 2nd gear and ease the torque in not just spin the tires hoping something will happen

  • exactly; you can't slam the gas violently like this fool does.. guy in the video has no idea how to drive his own truck.

  • i hate when people do it...everyone does it even if its like barely any snow...they slam the gas all the way and just sit there while the tires spin

  • i know; no matter how many times you try to explain it to them, they still dont get it.. how do they expect to gain traction by flooring the gas? they just sink themselves deeper & get more stuck.. idiots.

  • @dumapies Putting it into second gear wont do anything with these dodge transmissions from 1996 up. at least on an automatic trans, the shifter you can put it into 2nd gear but it will put it in 1st and bring you to second. so should just put it in 1st and ease into the gas. i brought my 99 dodge durango up a 25 degree slope, yes it was my street after it snowed 3 feet, and i worked through it effortlessly, to bad i didnt video it. will try if it snows like that again.

  • @dumapies 4lo and 2nd aint gunna do er in this stuff need tall narrow big lug tire so they clean out and keep diggin

  • Nice cummins driver needed chains and I'd say that was 18 inches of fresh packed snow doesn't move doesn't give traction and you can high center on it..really fun stuff

  • I guess you don't get snow in your home town. In Newfoundland, the snow that falls here is wet and heavy most of the time. Once a truck gets caught in a rut or gets hung up. The only thing to do is shovel.

  • gotta love the sound of the cummins, the people filming should have shut up and layed down in front of that truck so he could get some more traction!!!

  • He was up there for 2 years and never got a job, eh? Huh

  • Hell, I am a chevy man, and all I have to say is that it is not haveing problems becuase it is a dodge... This is thick heavy wet snow, and this is the worst kind of snow to drive in.. It is thick, wet& can cake up your tread's. My silverado has great tires on it, and I have had problem's in this stuff when it was over a foot deep.

  • true true

  • hey i used to live there i loved it:)

  • if i was stuck in the snow and people were tapeing me i would be PISSED!!!

  • lol true that

  • Tires, tires, tires. Put a damn 2 inch spacer in the front and some 35's on that thing.

  • tires make all the difference and a little weight on the back of that truck cud help too :)

  • i hate the dumb conversation in the back, lets hear that cummins work! OR go help the guy and move some snow instead of taping him

  • i went to college of the redwoods in crescent city for a lil, then i got bored

  • cummins babe
