  • I'm homeschooled, and the frist thing gown ups say when they find out is "Your so social!" Like Homeschooling has anything to do with someones personallty.

  • @billywarren22 Way to go brother! You really did your homework! I love that he didn't respond to your last message! Its great to see that there are still some Christians who are willing to stick up for their faith! Our mission should be to enlighten the misinformed and uninformed masses who go to these ridiculous public schools. I love what you are doing! I will be sure to pray for firegod001 that he becomes aware of his folly and that you keep up the good work! Merry CHRISTmas & happy new year!

  • @gaymezsuk would you please stop harassing Tim

  • When I was younger I went to this suuuper small private school with like 25 kids in it, my family finally decided to homeschool me but my social skills suck... I mean I like being homeschooled but I am super shy and don't know how to start a conversation

  • i just love clicking on a video, hoping to enjoy a comedy clip and i scroll down to the comment section and end up reading a debate the size of a short novel! come on guys. just enjoy the funny man.

  • 5 people go to public school

  • this guy is funny hey honey im going to to starbucks tell me when the kids need a whooping

  • I'm home schooled too!:)

  • I'm the only one in my family (6 siblings people) who is home schooled. I'm right in the middle with an eight year gap between me and the next oldest and a twelve year gap between me and the next youngest. So I understand what people say about home schooled not being social. But my two best friends, since before we started school, (they are also home schooled) have been closer to me than anyone in the world. I have seen my older sister make and lose friends in a heartbeat. It doesn't matter whe

  • I see the giant argument and I'll throw in my two cents. Not trying to argue. Just stating some facts.

First of all, whoever says science and religion are natural enemies is an idiot. One can mix the two perfectly well. It's just due to some past mistakes of the church that people believe that.

Two, yes, things change and adapt. It's called microevolution. However, macroevolution, we have no proof for.

Three, there's no way to PROVE a scientific theory true. It can always be knocked down.

  • @JustDance00156 That's not correct. That is a flat out lie being spread by creaion "scientists" who know full well that macroevolution has been observed many times. All that is required for microevolution is speciation, which has been seen with our eyes, not just in viruses and plantlife, but even insects and rarely in mamals. Not to mention all the fossil evidence. All macroevolution is is microevolution over a very long time (usually).

  • @firegod001 "All that is required for microevolution is speciation"

    Macroevolution, not micro.

  • @firegod001 I love how you didnt answer on how the big bang occured. Again if billions of years have passed then there would be thousands and thousand of fossils of missing links and guess what there arnt any. DNA is a blueprint of life and last time I checked blueprint dont create themselves. It programs the cells in your body to function a certain way for a certain purpose and with a program comes a programer(GOD) I follow christ not religion its truth while you drink deep the lie.

  • @firegod001 You cant explain God and so you cant box him in and so you say he cant exist you rather believe that nothing exploded and that nothing became something and that you are glorified sludge. Evolution is just a theory because you cant observe it Darwins finchs and there beaks do you know that their beaks returned to their original size once their enviroment recovered. Adaptation was he witnessed. Take the giraffe it drinks water but iwhen he bends over he could pass out from the rush

  • @firegod001 Of blood to the brain so God create a valve like structure to restrict the flow of blood so he can bend over to drink. If evoluyion was true the species would have died out before envolving a need for that valve. I could go on but as scripture says It is the fool who says there is no God. You prove God right also whan scripture says from out of the mouth comes the overflow of the heart. When you spew vile words you show the condition of your heart. I end with this question

  • @firegod001 Now, I dont mean this as a threat but since you love science as do I out of our two positions who cannot afford for theirs to be wrong. Now Im not saying to believe to be safe but think about if you are right then no soul just darkness but if Im right then you my friend only wager your soul before a holly God. Now God is there and as they say in Vegas the house always wins. I hope and pray that you leave the table before you roll snake eyes. I will do as my Lord command and

  • @firegod001 and dust my feet off and move on and leave you to the Holy spirit. Ypu have a blessed day and a Merry Christ-mas. God bless and farewell.

  • @firegod001 How did the big bang occur? You believe that nothing exploded. that nothing became something. You call us crazy. Evolution is still just a theory not fact. Its taught as fact because people are too afraid go against the state. If you want to believe that youre just glorified goo thats you bit I know that In the beginning God. Gof bless and farewell.

  • @billywarren22 WRONG. Evolution is not a theory. It's a fact. The THEORY of Evolution is a scientific theory, the highest form of science, and it's there to try to explain how evolution works. You've been lied to sporty, and you also assume you know what I believe and what I don't. You're incorrect. Try again.

  • @JustDance00156 You're also incorrect in how you see evolution as a scientific theory. No, a scientific theory is never proven correct, because that's not how science works. But evolution itself is NOT a scientific theory. Evolution is a fact; The Theory of Evolution is the scientific theory used to try to explain how evolution works. Many things withing the theory have been proven and many more will in the future.

  • @JustDance00156 Amen friend. The word science just means knowledge and yet the evolutionist claim fact when its still just a theory. Btw there would have to be more "MISSING LINKS" for all creatures not just apes to man they dont exist. Take DNA for its a blueprint a collection of information. Where does information come from? A mind. DNA is a program and with every program comes a programer. What it is that they cant box God in so he must not be real. God is too vast for that.

  • @billywarren22 Why do you people buy this bullshit? Because some idiotic religious leader tells you to? Evolution is a fact. If what you're saying is true, then gravity is only a theory. The idea that the earth revolves around the sun is only a theory. Bzzzzzzz! WRONG. More missing links? How many do you need?? Do you realize how rare it is for a life form to fossilize? We're lucky we have found as many non-human primate to human primate transitional fossils as we have.

  • @billywarren22 Another thing... There will ALWAYS be a "missing link". Not just with regards to primates, but with regards to all other life forms as well. Whenever you find a missing link, you create two more missing links. The fact of the matter is that EVERY single species that has every existed is a transitional species. You're listening to lies, and it's absolutely pathetic and stupid.

  • I'm Home-schooled and both my parents work! D:

  • ah, i crack me up... aw c'mon tim, everyone knows you're thinking that. lol! luv ya!

  • Charles0322mrsdaine my deepest apologies

Now I must run. I do have a life you know.

  • It's all about parenting. You're going to get plenty of both public school kids and homeschooled kids who don't have a clue about academics or LIFE, because the good parenting isn't there, and you'll have both types who get a great education and learn the other things they need to learn. Either way can work just fine. The one thing that does concern me about homeschooling though, is science. There are lots of reasons why it is difficult for homeschooled kids to get a good science education.

  • @firegod001 You make a good point. Thank you.

But I do not understand why you would think it is difficult for a homeschooler to get a good sciece education. I know my kids (as all the homeschoolers I know) have more hands on experiments, and visit far more science museums, National Park Ranger programs and so forth than their public school friends (in fairness, it is very difficult to take out a whole class several times a month) . There are companies who sell science equipement to us.

  • @charles0322mrsdani That's awesome, and people like you are why I said it's difficult and not unheard of. But imagine how hard it is for most homeschooled kids to dissect an animal, or to have a powerful microscope. Also, there is a very large element of this country that would rather use their religion to replace science instead of teach their kids real science, and to me, that's very damaging and disappointing. But I hear you, and agree that there is some great homeschooling out there.

  • @firegod001 Its not hard at all. For $30 you can order an entire dissection kit with a pig or frog from science catalogs. The same companies sell hight quality mircroscopes for less than $300.

Now as for the religion comment. The problem w most schools is "free thinking" is not allowed. Evolution is taught as proven fact when it is anything but. I was always interested in science (espe. genetics) Those that teach creation do NOT replace science they use the science....how shall I put this

  • @charles0322mrsdani the same evidence is used. When someone has accepted something as fact they use what science has shown to prove they are right. For example, at the Grand Canyon this year, the layers in the rock proved to an evolutionists that it took eons to form, however one who know follows God, knows it shows the aftermath of the flood.

My kids, like most hs I know, are shown the truth about the THEORY of evolution and the flaws in it. I want them to be able to think for themself

  • @charles0322mrsdani You will find that most hs teach their kids to think for themselves and how to study the evidence for themselves, not to rely on teachers, preachers or even some scientist who like everyone else get it wrong sometimes.

HS have the time to teach "free" thinking in ALL matters of life.

  • @charles0322mrsdani I want to be able to make up their own minds. Which is the main reason I homeschool.

  • @charles0322mrsdani No, you happen to be VERY wrong, and I take back my "people like you" comment. Creationism has absolutely NOTHING to do with science, and you would know that if you were in any way familiar with the scientific method. Evolution is a fact. However, we use a scientific theory to try to understand how it works, you know, like we do with gravity! The amount of people in this country who get brainwashed into believing the nonsense you are spewing absolutely amazes me.

  • @firegod001 if you were in any way familiar with the scientific method, then you would know it is NOT fact. It is a theory. What is the last step in the scientific method? You must be able to reproduce the results. You can not with evolution. Darwin himself, I suggest you read the book like I have, said himself it would be difficult to impossible to prove.

  • @charles0322mrsdani Oh, wow. I thought you were a little sharper than this. First of all, Darwin has nothing to do with our current understanding of evolution. He was important at one time, but we understand much more about it then he ever could have. Evolution is a fact. The THEORY of which you speak, is how we try to understand how evolution works. It's a scientific theory, and it's the highest form of science there is. Yes, evolution was more of a theory than a fact at one point, (CONT)

  • and guess what? So was the idea that the earth revolved around the sun. Many people, mostly based on religion, fought this idea tooth and nail. Hmmm. I'm wondering if once it became a fact, the THEORY went away? NOPE! The theory was kept as a scientific theory to better understand how it all works, just like with The Theory of Evolution. We know evolution happens, and we are merely trying to figure it out as much as we can. People like you are the kind of people who persecuted Galileo.

  • @firegod001 No the people who persecuted Galileo were men who were afraid of losing power & wealth. It has nothing to do w God save the fact they were in the church. Today, the men afraid of losing power & money are in politics.

  • @charles0322mrsdani Actually, it still is about losing wealth and power. The church wants to brainwash as many people as possible, and it is much harder to do that to the public when they are informed about science. So they infiltrate science with relgiion and hope to dupe even more people than they can merely by using the church.

  • @firegod001 And yes it is indeed brainwashing to teach my chilldren to study and look at ALL possiblities and theories and learn to make up their own minds. I should just spoon feed everything for them and not teach them they have a mind. I know it is horrible to teach them logic. What can I say? I just love them too much to go through life and just except what some "expert" says. I want to them to make up their own minds.

  • Unfortunately, you have to learn some logic yourself before you'll be able to teach it to your children. Understanding that a fact is a fact is NOT brainwashing. If I told you to believe every single thing told to you within The THEORY of Evolution, then you would have a very small point, but unfortunately for you, you have no coherent point at all, because you aren't talking science, logic, or anything else that makes sense. You're trying to mix religion and science, and it just doesn't work.

  • Charls0322mrsdaine it's a comedian act I'm home schooled you take things to seriously.

  • @Lacrosse9009 Its not the comedian act we are commenting on. I get annoyed (because I have to get it all the time) about the socialization nonsense. It tends to get on someone's nerves when they hear the same arguement that a person does not really think through before saying it or they sterotype because of 1 family's experience or because of a family they see on TV or my favorite because of a family a friend of theirs heard about.

I cant even go to a parade w/o someone asking me about it

  • What you described is not a hs problem, it was a family problem. PLEASE understand I am NOT putting your family down. Our home is conservative Christian. Most of the time I and my daughters are the ONLY ones at church or in our HS groups that wear dresses but we are able and do interact with daily with people of many faiths or none at all. Mine are able to have a discussion w any adult, teen or kid their own age because they ARE in the real world already.

  • The vast majority (again not all but most) hs interact in the real world from an early age, they are not thrown into it in college, (like most public school kids I know, myself included) Yes, there are some "bad" homeschoolers but I will bet any amount of money there are more public school kids who come out of school not able to interact with people (that comes from the many school teachers I know)

  • tdrpower No it is not worse for home schoolers. By your own admission, you never were around anyone. My children have been out in the real world. We belong and go on outings w several groups in our area. We have planned girl only events so the 2 Muslim women can take their veils off. Our groups, like most(not all but most) hs groups have a wide variety of people from many backgrounds, religions, and economic brackets.

  • yeah i was home schooled from kindergarten until the 11th grade. i had no idea how to interact with other people until i started working at 16. and my grades weren't any better than public school kids. in fact all my public school friends graduated and i didn't. i will never home school my kids.

  • @tdrpowerl There are MANY (I would venture to say more) kids who come out of public school who do not know how to interact with other people.

  • @charles0322mrsdani i would say that is worse for most home schoolers.

  • @tdrpowerl Homeschooling is not to blame.Your family is,if what you say is even true. A child that spends 180 days a year with kids who are w/in 5 months of their agae and only allowed to talk during lunch (providing they dont get too loud) is not learning to interact with people.

  • @charles0322mrsdani yes, but at least when you go to a school with different people other than your parents and siblings you get to see how the rest of the world really works, instead of only going by what your parents tell you. i agree with you that the homeschooling in itself wasn't to blame, but it sure didn't help me. my parents tried to keep me sheltered from the real world and as soon as i turned 18 i thought, "wow, i'm 18, i can do whatever i want now." and for the most part i did.

  • @tdrpowerl A child that spends their time out in the real world (not stuck in the same 4 walls with the SAME people all day) with people of ALL ages in ALL stages and ALL walks of life in a wide variety of settings (in other words, out in the real world) is much better prepared to interact with people in the real world because they are already out in the real world.

  • @charles0322mrsdani i totally agree with you.

i only knew the world really from my parents and church's perspective. it was quite a wake up call when i actually went out and experienced it myself.

  • @ilovehugs130 I'm homeschooled and I don't get criticized. And the beat part is bashing public schoolers lol.

  • @jacobhanan hah! I do that sometimes! XD

  • "'Your children aren't properly socialized.' well what do you get in trouble for in public school? Socializing..."

Haha! This makes me laugh every time! :D

I'm homeschooled, but I'm probably the only person alive that doesn't get criticized for it... :/

  • @ilovehugs130 Nope. I don't get criticized for it. I was homeschooled all through my school years. I'm in my first year of university. The only time I've been criticized about homeschooling is when other girls are jealous. I'm a year ahead of them. XD They go 'how'd you get ahead? Oh right. You're homeschooled.' My answer? 'No, it's not because I'm homeschooled. It's because I'm SMART!' Sometimes I feel like adding onto that 'Get used to it, suckas! I'm smarter!'

  • @Exmoor123 me too! I started preschool a little bit early so I WAS ahead but now I'm like a grade behind, so yeah. My cousin called me a slacker, but on the other hand, the curriculum I use has some things that are like 8th grade level for 6th grade, so I'm ahead where at the same time I'm behind. XD Yeah we homeschoolers are just smarter! :D

  • @ilovehugs130 nope, i dont get criticized so you arent alone hahaha

  • I was homeschooled until this year, now that i'm a junior... and people are always saying "But... why aren't you anti-social or anything?" Irritates me O.o

  • @YoungDaniAndTheMute I've heard that so much too from my public schooled friends. but it's like just because we're homeschooled doesn't mean we don't do outside activities. :)

  • Haha this is so true!

  • He's like Brian Regan.

  • "they're not getting proper socilization" his face was hilarious

  • 0 people are... wait....TIM HAWKINS IS AMAZING!

  • Fourth kid is eating a squirrel.

  • Played duck duck goose with himself XD chased himself for bout 5 minutes lol HILRIOUS

  • @sugermuffin1 duck duck duck duuuuuuuuuuuuuck duck duck...

  • 1st commment :D
