I like your show of sympathy and compassion, most people are demonstrating extreme callousness, I think chimps should be left in wild, I don't think they ought to be in zoos, or in movies, or kept as pets, though I have nothing but sympathy for everyone involved, It is extravagant to have a chimpanzee as a pet, but there is much extravagance in society that is tolerated, so I believe that no one is to blame, every one is a tragic figure in this, no one knew the chimp would do this.

yep, this was just another case that showed the notion of instinctive drift and why animals should NOT be domesticated. sure it's cute and an exciting venture at first but it's situations like this that just make it harder when for example, the chimp in this case goes back to it's natural instincts.
