  • I remember when I was 12 yrs old here in L.A in 1974 a they played this at my sister's graduation at Immaculate Heart Catholic girls school....400 girls sobbing uncontrolably

  • EPIC SONG GREAT JOB

  • Where can I Watch This CLASSIC FILM online??? I Haven't Seen This Movie Since I Was A Little Girl...But I Can Remember This Song, Like I've Watched This Movie A Million Times. Love Mrs.Ross She Is A Classy DIVA!!!

  • A timeless classic! Simply beautiful. Great song, voice and a genuine superstar!

  • I can still recall being a toddler and watching this on TV. The scene with this song playing as she was on the Subway has always been memorable.

  • this was someone very special and close to me graduation song as well, so I made it mine..out of love

  • I love the movie Mahogany and this song. Maybe I am just a sucker for happy endings but it was a real nice love story. That scene when Billy Dee says "Success is nothing without someone to share it with" still makes me cry. When ever my life gets to complicated I listen to this song and it seems I am able to stop all the noise and focus on what's really important. Thank you Ms. Ross.

  • @lovecan2k I love this movie too. I still have it on VHS, that scene when Billy Dee says "success is nothing without someone you love to share it with", and she knew he was right because as she was screaming she hated him she was crying and missing him at the same time. Yeah it is a deep movie!

  • If there was a remake, I would prefer Rhianna over (Ms. Beyonce, she's too much and it would be a cliche).

  • @Kasbahkabaret Neither would be a good pick. If it was a remake i would prefer Taraj P Henson, because she looks a little like Diana Ross and maybe Idris Elba or Morris Chestnut to play Billy Dee Williams role!

  • Remove the attitude that the catholic church, christians and white people have the power to harm me or somebody else spiritually! Remove the atttitude that if i dont have a real confirmation that someone is on my side or supportive of me, and or just not being confrontational that it instantly they should be harmed as an indication!

  • @kathyelam2014

what the hell are u talkin about?

  • Remove the attitude that every person is looking to see if any people have a disagreement with God and if that hapens the black people will go back wards from any help that God gave them!~ Remove the attitude that they can read my mind and they dont love her, and they sit and wait for me to get wet, depending on who is talking so they can use it against me!

  • Remove the attitude that if you have questions than the President of the United States would answer them, of any states. Remove the attitude that the black woman would be in a relationship where she would have to choose between her society or the people in her home including familly or a man!

  • Absolute Magic.

  • A minha música preferida da Diana Ross, linda!

  • this is my favorite song of all times...it was my 9th grade graduation song....

  • @Mirossean this was the graduation song played at our ceremony at uni 1977. it was a fitting song at that time.

  • If this video is anything to go by the film looks hardly worth watching.

  • @TheJanetsvids fashion designer made good then returning to her more humble roots. it had attempted murder, attempted suicide, face slapping, loving, politics, billy d williams, diana and fashion fashion fashion. and then this fantastic theme song. if you hate campiness you'd hate this film but everyone else should get a kick out of it.

  • this is such an iconic song. these are such iconic images. my sister monica is just as beautiful on the outside and far more beautiful on the inside. she might think that everyone has as strong a connection with god as she has, but it is not so. her gift is to make her belief a reality.

  • diana ross i love u

  • Stunning.

  • One of my favorite Diana Ross movies....

  • diana ross fes parte da minha vida adoro ela

  • proving yet agen u cant sing in tune. shame the words are nice the singer here needs to go. not good

  • @neildavid1000 so i flick onto your channel and see that you are a mary wilson fan...a woman whose last number one was in 1967 (as you know she did not sing on the supremes last two number ones). a woman who is never mentiones in arguements about who was better, diana or florence. nuff said.

  • Sai dove stai andando? ti piacciono le cose che la vita ti sta dando?.....................

Io spero che tutte le porte ti si aprano.

  • I've always loved this song and Mahogany. Now I crave to see it again. It's been decades!! Great video, btw.:-)

  • Love it.. love everything about this song and the movie was pretty cool, too. Different.

  • Eb Major. That's all I can say. She influenced me into having "perfect pitch"

  • Hey, wasn't that Billy Dee "Landi Calrissian" Williams??

  • I listened to this song when ever I am down and lying helplessly to my destiny.
