  • I personally know a New Hampshire Police Officer and he assures me that many of the cops are on your side. You're winning. Don't give up.

  • This is stupid!!! In a small town like that, nobody gives a shit.. This should be done for Los Angeles County instead... Get your asses to this side..

  • please tell me how you got permision to carry on your ride along...im going on a ride along with hamburg twp in michigan today and they told me my carry right is at the discretion of the dept. they said no firearms no spray no cuffs and no military clothing strictly as a civillian observer. im a U.S. Marine for crap sake..???

  • Nice to see both sides, Well done guys! And a great Police officer!

  • I think most law abiding citizens would love to have a good cop as their friend I mean the sort of friend where you can invite him and his family to a bbq and have their kids play with yours. It would break down a lot of barriers that bad government sets up.They seem to want us divided and seen as the enemy by the cops and in turn they want us to see cops as the enemy but nothing could be further from the truth.I really respect a good cop I hate corrupt cops or government officials.

  • @2wheels88 ... Hiya wheels, ... just a quick note to say that you should stay out of my brain dammit... I'm outraged that you said exactly how I feel better than I could've..

  • YA! OBEY! THE GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO GET US ALL!

  • fuck you faggot. when you front door gets kicked in by some crack head fiending for a fix and is looking to steal you shit, your ganna be the first one on the phone with 911 calling for help. stick your stupid conspricy theroes for your boyfriend bitch.

  • @MrDevenob Keep talking cop. You're comments simply reveal your vulgar nature. He wouldn't call a cop. He has a gun. If someone were to kick in his door, perhaps he would call the cops to come and clean up afterwards, or perhaps he would call the sanitation department to haul the human garbage away. I'm sure that a cop-worshipping daisy like you would call the cops. I can almost see the 911 transcript now.."Help me!" sob "He's breaking in!" sob sob "I'm so afraid he'll touch my hooha" sob

  • Perhaps the freestaters will be less likely to call in death threats to government officials, call all cops pigs/thugs/fascists etc now.

  • people saying the word "honourable" without any hint of irony or sarcasm is something that i have not heard for a very long time..

  • Short but good video. I look forward to watching more.

  • I Like good cops, I like bad cops, Just better to be a good cop....I will remember you in a WROL situation....DO NOT BULLY ME...PLEASE

  • DUDE! Look at your satanic shirt.

Politics is just a guise for the satanic agenda, I have come to find out...

  • haha @ 3:00

  • You've never shaved you face, WTF do you know about shit?

Just another spoiled lil girl trying to get daddy's attention!

  • You are the Detroit TSA incident guy. LOL, you're good.

Good to see there are still some good cops left.

  • were you OC'ing while on the ride along?

  • Great video man... Thanks for all the work that you put into this.

  • I wish more officers thought along his lines unfortunately there are so many cops that freak out when they see a gun, case we all know BG's love to show off their piece right?

  • Actually it's LEGAL to open carry in most of the US.

  • awesome video but still perpetuating corruption...

  • If i carry my bulletproof vest and an M16 in my back, would it be okay??

    haha gota love US laws...

  • @ic069 i can say with almost 100% certainty that you do not own an m16 OR a vest. I know this because in order to own a m16, you need to scrape up 20-25k and if your spending 25k on a rifle, then you'd know your gun laws... =)

  • @mrh20082008 i dont think an m16 is more expensive than a barret M82 .50 cal.

    wich is 8-10k.

  • @ic069 then i was right, you REALLY dont know your guns, do some research for select fire m16, you cant hardly find transferable m16's... ive seen prices anywhere from 16k to 28k for a civillian transferable select fire m16. im sure you can find a piece of shit one for 10k and fix it up tho =)

  • This video is too short to make personality judgments of this officer....

  • @MrLyons0 Just FYI, cops have to open carry. They carry off duty sidearms, which they rightfully should.

  • I love Keene NH, if I could only stand all the snow in New England I would live in New Hampshire instead of NC. I hated moving so far from Massachusetts.

  • There are many cops like him who know the laws well, like open carry. I wish people realized that.

  • @MrLyons0 I see a pattern here. Hitler hated the Jews because they were Jews. The Klan hate blacks because they are black. The Sunni hate the Shia because they are Shia. You hate cops because they are cops? Why don't you go to your local police department and sign up for a few ride alongs. Actually talk to the police. You will find that they encourage citizens to arm theirselves. Most police would quit before they would take a gun from a law abiding citizen. Life it too short to be so hateful,

  • OPEN CARRY RETARDS. NH will follow california and ban open carry. Then I can only hope that the cops blast and kill all you open carry idiots.

  • @ANzogTI Wow, personal attacks and advocating violence against peaceful people. What a wonderful person.

What's your threshold for calling on others to murder the people you disagree with? Is it only certain issues or some other criteria they need to meet before you call for their execution?

  • Finally a decent cop. He should be the example for all cops to follow.

  • @barryfisher3 I agree with your comments about Shane. It takes courage to speak out and share his views in this way.

One correction. I'm pro freedom. The right/left red/blue paradigm is simply a mechanism of control. Two head of the same big government party. I invite you to view some of my other videos ot understand a little more

  • @obscuredtruth TRUTH.

Even teh third party is controlled. Ron Oaul is a freemason. Sarah palin...I can't even laugh.

BE YOUR OWN LEADER IF YOU WANT REPRESENTATION.

NO ONE IS GONNA DO THE JOB RGHT FOR YOU UNLESS THEY KNOW THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT YOUR SELF.

  • @obscuredtruth I did a ride along with Keene PD when I was like 13. My uncle worked for the city doing all of their computers and knew all the cops, back in the 90s.

  • This video reminds me of a recent encounter I had with a few officers of the Ottawa PD. This happened at my local range. I was there shooting my AR 180b, and they came along and started asking me a few questions about it. They weren't worried that it was an "evil black rifle", but instead, they thought it was really cool and one of them wanted to buy one! They even said it is a shame that the magazines had to be limited to 5 rounds (due to Canadian law).

    Very positive experience.

  • 5 rounds??!? what kind of laws u have up there? you should move to the states so you can get a 100 round drum

  • @steamingpoopfart What kind of gun laws do we have? Crappy ones, for the most part. The only upside is SBR rules and mag restrictions only apply to semi-auto centerfire rifles and shotguns, so a Ruger 10/22 w/ 10.5" bbl is legally no different than one with an 18.5" bbl. Also, we don't have any import restrictions, so we can get non sporting rifles like G36's (not SL8's converted to look like a G36) from foreign countries.

  • @steamingpoopfart Why kind of civil rights do you have down there? Move there and then deal with your corrupt government & police. You're going to need that 100 round drum in the next few years when the dollar collapses & your government turns fascist...like it hasn't already! You can thank the lineage of shameful presidents including this clown in office right now. Say good-bye to the Constitution dreadfully so. The 2nd amendment is the U.S. citizens last line of defense...protect it!

  • A Real Peace Officer as opposed to a Law Enforcement Officer. Great series of videos.

  • ok he might be a real police officer and not a pig, congrats.

  • "dont whack me in my own car" thats a great line!

  • this video is great ....police officers should know the citizens ... same goes for the citizens should now the police officers .... we live in the same community .... the only difference is the police officer is there to ikeep the peace

  • Sensible cop in this video.

One has to remember that an unarmed populace is a populace ripe for dictatorship. Asd Heinlein once noted, "An armed society is a polite society."

  • I know a lot of police and the honest ones totally support citizens carrying weapons. The criminal cops hate it.

  • your incoherent statement reflects your ignorance

  • What's incoherent about my above statement?? It's pretty blunt and straight forward if you ask me..

i say it how it is my friend..

How common it is for someone to try and hide behind an intellectual statement like yours.. When they jst got fuggin told! haha

Proud member of the NRA here.. I know what needs to be known about my rights. What i also know.. is that you're cry baby pampered college douche bag! lol

  • Very decent & respectable officer. We need alot more cops like this one!!! I really enjoyed the video!

  • "The gun is going to leap outta the holster and start killing people"

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOlOLOLOLOOLLOOLLL

  • I like the video and think I'd like to see the whole interview. On "Open Carry"...I practice it fairly often and I have not been hassled. I have had a cop ask me about my weapon and the type of ammo I use but in a purely conversational way. If you are having trouble with your local cops, then you are not training them well, paying them well or managing them well. After all, they are employees and your town/city Representatives work for you. Get involved politically and improve your world.

  • Hey Poster: Good on you for actually doing something real about the problems with police today, instead of just bitching about them on the internet.

  • Yeah, check out google for "police misconduct."

Police going out of line and acting like badged thugs definately dosen't fall into the "isolated incidents" category.

  • @ Binky40SW

If you disagree with the video and what other people think, then keep your thoughts to yourself. Also I pity you for trying to find negativity in everything. Life must suck for you.

  • If you disagree with the free exchange of opinions, move to Iran or North Korea, where it seems you'd be more comfortable with an opressive society, a thuggish Jack-Booted police force that's indistinguishable from the military, and the constant fear that speaking your mind will get you carted off to a gulag in the middle of the night. America is still a free place to speak your mind.

I only find negativity in the unmitigated thuggery that's inherent with the uniform these facists wear.

  • @ Binky40SW

Thats funny how much of a hypocrite you are. You dislike them for giving you tickets, but when shit goes down you'd be the first one to be dialing 911 screaming "HELP". And don't tell me you won't because we all know you will. Do me a favor, next time you get robbed, jacked or shot, call your crackhead buddy.

  • Thank a cop for dealing with your $h!t before you $h!t on him cause he didnt get all the details right. If everyone goes home at the end of the night, be thankful! cops dont get paid much, so more than likely they started out doing the job because they care. Then all you F'ing critics made them paranoid, grouchy, control freaks! walk a mile in thier shoes!

  • man fuck tha government they just fuck ppl over.ppl there aint like ppl in keene tx werun tha 187 on them bitches

  • why open carry, then you need a permit from big bro. to carry conceal ?

  • The police often times get a better feel for reality after being on the force for years than what the asshole legislators and fed goons ever will. A cop who pays attention learns that prohibition causes crime. The cowboys in the DEA and BATFE are not police, they are the police state. A lot of times, local police can't stand those organizations, and disagree with their objectives (tyranny and unconstitutional revenue collection).

  • I hope this is the beginning of a good relationship between the Libertarian movement and the police in Keene. Keep up the good work. Bravo to the Keene Police.

  • This is the best way to handle the local police! They will be our last defence against The Fed Governments Tyranny. They need to be our friend NOT OUR FOE.

  • @bossman068410 I hope you get hit by a car

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, the police were fantastic at Columbine and Virgina Tech.

  • They were! what could anybody do in a situation like that? People always want police to respond perfectly, and then submit to arm chair quarterbacks ripping them apart after THEY were the ones who got out there and did somthing about it. You think you could have done better, In the face of danger, and all the possible litigation that chuckle heads like the guy that made this video need to bring into the equation? I think not. I think you should STFU and let the police do what they do, for YOU!

  • Comment removed

  • The Cops did exactly as expected, so in that sense they did do a perfect job. They crouched behind their cars until the shooter was finished and killed himself. But that's NOT the point of this video. The Cop was ZERO help in both these circumstances and will always be useless in every future similar circumstance. There is really only one real way to cut down on similar situations. Allow Students with Concealed Carry Permits to carry their guns on Campus. Like they do in Utah.

  • Maybe someone else would have done something if it had been legal to do so. But no we follow moronical laws that keep us from defending ourselves and just make us one more target waiting to catch one. Students HAVE successfully defended themselves in situations like VT if you dont remember. While the police did nothing students ran and got guns and disarmed the attacker without firing a single shot.

  • besides if you cant recall the cops dont have to help you, defend you, save you, or risk there lives for you. They can hear the call and swing by Starbucks on the way, taking plenty of time to get there so hopefully its all over by the time they get there. It happens alot trust me, been in that situation

  • where do you get this info? I find people make alot of these "stories" up. People are so uninformed at just tend to beleive everything they hear from friends and on tv, like ive said before get to know a cop before you stereo type and broadly generalize a very diverse career.

  • which part in particular are you asking about? if its the Starbucks thing, I heard it from SGT Vandusen of Scranton PD, and from my brother, who is a student of Lackawanna Police academy. Also I get to hang out with alot of the town cops when they visit with my brother

  • look there are stories of people doing crazy Crazy$hit in every career. just cause you hear a story don't mean its standard practice. there are assanine cops just like there are assanine, lawyers, pilots and roofers. Because a cop represents your weaknesses you need to control them and arm chair quarterback them do death. cops see you at your worst, weakest and most vulnerable. and they have to deal with it in a blink of an eye, and they HAVE TO do the right thing or its their job! Ease up!

  • My brothers instructors agreed you will find more assholes as cops than in other fields because the power draws them. They all admitted it. Opinions all but informed ones

  • City of Castle Rock vs. Gonzales.

    Warren v. District of Columbia.

    DeShaney v. Winnebago County.

Three examples, searchable by anyone with an internet connection, that explicitly state the police have no duty to protect individuals. In one case, three women spent fourteen hours in capitivity subjected to repeated rapes. In another one a father beat his 4 year old son so bad it turned the son into a retard, despite multiple complaints to the police of child abuse.

    Cont'd...

  • Pt. 2

In Castle Rock vs. Gonzales, a woman's ex-husband picked up the children in violation of a restraining order. Despite four phone calls and one personal visit to the police station over a 6 hour period, during one of which Ms. Gonzales told the police she knew where her husband had the children, they did nothing. The children were later found in the trunk of the vehicle, murdered.

The State Suprm Crt stated what has already been said. "Police have...no duty to protect individuals."

  • ok i dont know those cases, but i bet they are not from NH, sounds like wisconsin maine and, duh DC. They don't show police have no duty to protect individuals! You want to borrow my jump to conclusions mat? They have a duty to serve the public. its a little different. we help people who ask for it, and we help them within the bounds of the law.

  • If you chose to read the case laws (paste them to wikipedia), you'll learn that the Federal Judges (they who set precedent for the whole country) have said "the police have no affirmed duty to protect the individual".

You go ahead and take your chances with the porkers, I know in reality we're all on our own.

    Good luck.

  • Have you read the cases yet?

  • Look up "armed students stop gunman". Hows your Google-fu? just about every article that comes up will tell you the story of two students stopping a massacre. didnt get much media attention, being pro carry and all. Look it up, Mike Gross was one og the students, google his name even

  • please don't have kids.

  • Your right the world is doomed. Bringing kids into it would be cruel. People are so lazy these days, everyone is a critic, and no one DOES anything. This country has become so pussified its sad. You can mouth off to authority figures, and resist arrest, be tottally unaccountable for things that you say in public, get drunk, crash your car into a family and be outta a jail the next day. But cops cant use pain compliance to make you cooperate. Im not proud of the people in this country anymore!

  • SOP is to tase in the face of non compliance. No permanent injury to the suspect and the cops dont have to wrestle with them risking injury to both parties.

And I do something about it. I carry. Thereby protecting myself and everyone around me in case a maniac cuts loose. If I shoot and miss and get killed at least i attempted to save lives, while the cops arrive 10 minutes later to hide behind cars til swat gets there.

BTW if u missed it, cops dont have to protect you. Needs to be said again

  • It would be nice if all police thought this way.

  • I am a Loss Prevention Investigator in Keene and work with the Keene PD quite often. I also open carry my Sig Sauer regularly and have never once had an issue. Keene Police are great, so are NH State Police in my past experiences. I dont know Lt. Maxfield all too well, but I like his attitude. "They think the gun is going to leap out of the holster and start killing everybody", that line made my night. People open carry in my store, more power to them. 3:04 is Center at Keene, Ralston St I think

  • there is only 3 ways to break the law..the rest is just ass raping the people for money because they don't know any better.

  • murder, robbery, rape... agree

  • What are you going to do when we open carry Aks?

  • Great works !!!

  • Open carry doesn't bother me at all, but I think concealed carry is better.

  • It's nice Lt. Maxfield allowed you to ride along so he could present a good PR image to you, but the actions of the officers under his command, as Dave Ridley recorded, at freedom fest demanding that they get permits and quit eating food at a peaceful assembly belie the good impression he is trying to make.

He ought to read these words to his officers:

Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble

  • did you guys ever go on a donut run? that must be one of the highlights of a drive with the pd.

  • that's pretty much how it should be. not do anything with someone open carrying

  • Lt. Maxfield is obviously honorable enough to have an uncomfortable discussion. He seems more like an old-style peace officer. I like him.

  • it's what they used to be. peace officers

  • That may be what he seems to be, but apparently he doesn't have control over the officers under his command,as seen by their actions in trying to shut down the peaceful freedom fest assembly.

Peaceably assembling is not a privilege which needs government permit or consent. It is a right, and its inclusion in the constitution serves as a notice and demand on the government that we will exercise that right...peaceably and without government permission.

  • it is great seeing new vids. Keep it up!

  • Good stuff, Sam. Moar now!

  • nice to see you back on the youtube scene.
