I mean, c'mon, these are 2 completely different styles of gameplay, they just wouldn't gel together!

I dunno, just the idea reminds me of those crossover games that they did with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon on the GBA, and we all know how "Epic" those games were!

I read on a Sonic website that the makers of this game know that people want a Mario and Sonic crossover game, that's not the Olympics, but they have not made plans for it yet. Hopefully we will see one in the future though.

Then Super Sonic and Fire Mario looks up at their stronghold (which would probably be some kind of mechanized castle surrounded by a moat of lava) and are all like "that shit ain't happenin" then proceed to enter the stronghold and kick some ass!
