Is that the stock Red Line motor? man you have to change it for a OS Max 37, much better and lots of power and get a set of Maverikk 550mm G4 Pro blades, great video though! good luck and have fun with your rappy :D they are great helis!,
@fernando13e Yeah it was the stock engine. Replaced it by the 37 indeed ;) also changed my blades to carbon ones. They fly sharp but much better ! Anyway, it is a long time ago now. Still with my 450's :) wanting to have a 600 electric but ... i got myself 2 kids which consume a lot of resources haha ;)
Hi i know this is a old video now i think. but ur throttle curve is way off engine revving its guts out just to hover. beed to sort that. hover should be at middle throttle position on ya tranny.
@austinpowers1977 Most people hover at around 3/4 stick so they can setup for 3d with a +-10 on the pitch range controlled by a curve to limit the negative in normal mode. That way the heli wont jump when switched to idel 1 and you'll be used to the stick position. Personal preference really.
The engine may have a power band high up the rev's. With mine engine is around 70% on the curve at 3/4 stick. Gives me a nice headspeed that is both stable and responsive in a hover.
Hello Hobbyists, I have this Thunder Tiger 30v2 assembled but I'm still skeptical about the rotor blades and other things and I'm not sure if it's done correctly. Does anybody lives in NYC so you can take a look at it for it for me please, I need a guidance. Please send me a message

@austinpowers1977 nowadays i fly with my stick at 3d setup, so center is 0 pitch.

nee, gewoon direct van een piccolo naar de raptor :) Ik heb de zender (mx-16) zelf afgesteld nadat ik heel veel gelezen had op het modelbouwforum.

is this alot more easy to fly then your 450 electric size?
NF650i 3 years ago
It's more stable, but far more scary because of the size :) Also it is a little slower in response :)

Ever noticed there are very few videos posted with the title "my heli's 1ooth flight!"
Nice heli, very scary compared to the electric.

Hi Chris, yes indeed more scary than 450 scale electric. But i have to say that the 600 size electric scares the ... out of me too ;)
At the moment i am building my raptor 50 and flying a t-rex 450 :)
