I walked into a music store recently and bought this guitar on a whim - hadn't played for twenty years. Just fell in love with it, and still do. Best impulse buy I ever made.
Gibson got it right: simplified controls, six-in-line tuners, semi-hollow tone, versatile pickups, classy finish--what's not to like? The only thing missing for me is a pick guard, but I'm old school. It's a shame these High Rollers are no longer made.
they fucking discontinued it!!!!! WHHHYYY?!?!? They must be totally nuts!! there are making loads of totally crap useless guitars like the new Reverse Flying V and stupid "robot guitar" (like wtf..) and this cool and really successful model are discontinued!!!! i think im starting to hate Gibson..... im dissapointed and not the only one... BOOOO GIBSON!!!!
