  • I'm in EngSci which means I'm better than you

  • @MrCharrrles Good luck after graduation

  • I was so depressed until 3 minutes in

  • I feel sorry for these people as well as those whom they represent. They've mistakenly convinced themselves that being able to conform to the artificial motivation that is school will transform them into influential innovators. Such a characteristic requires more than a formal education.

Although an "inside joke", it should be obvious to anyone with minimal intelligence that these kids carry around the false belief of superiority based on trivial accomplishments. (ie. their program, marks)

  • after watching this.. im not sure what to do.

  • I'm happy I dropped out, got involved in social life and clubs, got honours, and doing grad school

  • i am had 43 hours of class a week which included 5 labs

and that was in 2nd year 1st sem

i am in compEng from UWaterloo

  • im an engineering science student, and I'm asian

  • lol my friend is trying to convince me to go into engsci... the first two minutes were not exactly encouraging :P actually I felt like the whole thing was compiled of mixed messages

  • faggots are back

  • Mechatronics student here, this is gold!

  • ERTW!

  • eng sci students write plays? EPIC!

  • A program shouldn't push someone to their limits, the person themselves should make that commitment to themselves to do it. The people that become innovators are not the ones that get the highest marks, go to the most prestigious schools, or have the most connections, its the people that work hard because they WANT to; its their passion. It's not because they have to, in order to get an expensive piece of paper.

  • Lol. I love how seriously people are taking this. It's or engsci dinner dance, an inside joke

  • these faggots.....

  • Why do i need to be in Engineering Science to be an innovator?

  • I know of a small private company where the chief engineer and a few of the design engineers were EngSci graduates. They all reported to the VP who was a DeVry graduate.

  • lol I like how we need to resort to emotional appeal in order to try to keep the most logically-minded kids in the world to stay.

  • I am really curious about knowing the name of world leaders who graduated from this so called super lative programme?

  • YOU ARE JUST 6 PEOPLE....WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER 299 PEOPLE?? LOOOL

ALL THE OTHERS AREN'T INVOLVED. LMFAO

  • lolz typical eng sci lecture

  • Don't drop out of EngSci if you care about:

-learning the newer stuff out there.

-being a leader or an innovator.

-showing the world that you can do it.

-being that girl who does everything she sets her mind to.

-being the best that you can be.

    -the important stuff that matters.

-the stuff that you came here for to begin with

Using the critical mind that got you accepted and got you this far, evaluate that claim. Do any of those items necessarily equate to staying or leaving?

  • this is the exact methods chinese parents use to persuade their kids. This is how my dad does it. Thumbs up if your parents does it too.

  • they are absolutely right,Who cares about engsci. Go to where the money is. No sarcasm

  • Inspiring, though I'm not in Eng Sci.

  • I have dropped out OK? Enough already. Only an EngSci would have the dogged determination to watch this video.

  • the fact that they even had to make this video is a testament to the failure of their program

  • i'm happy I'm going to waterloo

  • Y would anyone want to go to this effin stupid programme where u work like an animal for four years and then get no job and get laughed at by people

  • Lol @ these fucking pussies. EngSci is a joke if you have any real skill in math/physics. It's just not for slow learners. I studied like 3 hours per week and aced it hahaha

  • Start a company? Go to business school, med school, law school? Forget about the last 3 as engsci will mess up your GPA. Completely. A 2.8 won't get you anywhere.

  • um...should i go then?

  • lololool 40 more than artsy friends

  • smelly world leaders with bad health and no friends who cares. What is success without personal connections.

you can go to law school w/o killing yourself for 4 years and a lot less money

  • ahahahah half of engscis going to mit caltech harvard berkeley.......bullllllllllllllshit

  • They told me it was 36 hrs/wk?

Well, good thing I didn't go into eng sci :)

    COME TO ENGSCI!

  • LMFAOOO

  • lol...looks like these are the students in the 'brochure'

  • The best engineering program in Canada and you can't even get the video formatted properly to show the subtitles?

Yeah I go to Waterloo.. suck it U of T

  • @marblewonder You probably wouldn't notice this looking at the video description nor the channel name, but this video was primarily made for a dinner/dance event, not YouTube.

  • @marblewonder cause maybe it wasn't for youtube? suck it sausagefest
