  • The Mormon but not LDS movement is an interesting one. Nice to see the evolution and healing happening and that people are working to provide the space for people to become whole and integrated around things. Maybe there is room for everyone in the religion, but not the church.

  • "My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus' blood and righteousness, I trust not on the sweetest frame, but wholly trust in Jesus' Name. On this Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand." The song says it: whatever you think and however it appears, even sincere, it isn't on the solid and finished work of Jesus. Even tho you put Jesus in your church name and tack it on your prayers, it isn't genuinely resting on Jesus' work. It's a shabby imitation. Sweetly framed but false.

  • I'm so confused? Are these people LDS or not?

  • @movetothebeatz Some are LDS and some are inactive and some ex Mormon, etc...

  • I want to go on a date with the guy at 1:04:00. Such a cute ginger :-)

  • This is the church of Jesus Christ the Latter Day Saints? or is another?...

  • @newfelipin It is a mixed bag, people from LDS backgrounds with varying views and experiences, ie. not all active, inactive, Mormon identified or non Mormon identified. It is a collective exploration of the Mormon experiences inside and outside the LDS church.

  • I live in Britain, so I've only ever met one Mormon before, but she was a really nice person, nice beyond the point of being real almost, so I've often wondered what is is specifically about the Mormon faith that seems to produce such kind and sociable people?

  • @The505Guys Often the 'nice' is a cover up for passive aggressive behavior sadly. It comes with good aspects and not so good aspects. The religion focuses on actions and can cultivate some disingenuous and self sacrificing behavior that often the person resents. Much of it is created with good intentions. Also, LDS Mormons are often more friendly early on when wanting to convert outsiders, then may join and it often becomes more judgmental. People comment on that at times.
