I must give you credit for being able to put a project like that together where the school didn't fund you. those are some real world skills you got, to be able to make something cool, and on a tight budget. My sister did a masters in architecture and had to build models and models without school funding so I think i have the right to say you did an awesome job on your project.
time and budget constraints, the University didn't support anything at all (budgetwise) so I had to find cheaper solutions to get the prototype working. Instead of real IR leds, normal minilights were used to illuminate the panel. A budget camera of 10 euro performed only 5 fps with this low light near IR signals.
That's friggin' sexy, I'm sorry.
