Thai has bought six B777-300ER from Boeing and has leased 8 new B787 Dreamliners this year. Thai is right now in talks with Boeing for orders on the new 747-8-Intercontinental since Thai has no need for the A380.

what i have experienced myself as being a frequent traveller on THAI is that, I have seen THAI flight attendants and staffs overlook to service and cater to the needs of the local passengers in a friendly and attentive way. I also found that services in economy cabin is even more thoughtful and attentive than in business cabin. From my experience, most of the golden-age flight attendants in premium cabin seem to be very arrogant, unfriendly and besides not efficient at all!

I think one of the best things about Thai Airways is it incorporates the lovely culture of their country in their service. You can see it with the amount of respect they give to every passenger. Plus, I can see the warmth of Thailand in how they talk to passengers.
I'm a Malaysian but i can say Thai Airways is the best airlines in the world that i had seen. Even though some of the aircraft not offer quipped with IFE but i can say the food and beverage inflight is the best and the service of cabin crew are genuine. It is awesome. Bravo Thai Airways.

i'm a filipino american who lived in chiang mai, thailand, for 8 months, and i LOVED thai people and thai culture. being raised filipino, though, made the thais view me as having 'jai dii' (a good heart) b/c i was polite and respectful. our cultures are pretty similar, other than religious differences of being catholic and buddhist.

Windows Shade must be pulled up because. Many problem can occurs during take off or landing. The pilot weren't able to see around the plane; so the window shade must be pull up because if something went wrong during take off / landing passenger were able to see and inform the FA.
PR's planes don't have PTV in every fleet. (Don't act like you are EK, EY, QR, SQ etc) or even First class, you have never know what is the first class look like. For service I don't wanna talk about 3rd person like crews but trust me in asia, PR's crews are not in the top 10 of air crews.
Thai Airways is extremely professional, from ticket check-in to boarding, it's amazing. U.S. airlines could learn alot from them in customer service and professionalism!
I flew on them 4 times in 3 wks, and each time I was treated very well, top notch service, I highly recommend this airline.

Chiang Mai to Bangkok but unfortunately it only lasts 50 minutes!
Would enjoy it immensely if it's a flight to LA.
The real first class is actually a plane's lavatory.

Answers to common questions:
*During take-off and landings, why do you need to put the seat upright and the table folders back up?
-The seat has to be upright to protect your neck and head during an emergency, but also to give you more room when the pilot says "Brace for impact".
*Why do you have to put the window shades back up during take-off and landing?
-It helps the flight attendants and passengers to spot incidents outside like a stuck flap or engine fire.

I think one of the best things about Thai Airways is it incorporates the lovely culture of their country in their service. You can see it with the amount of respect they give to every passenger. Plus, I can see the warmth of Thailand in how they talk to passengers.
Plus, the food is good!

I'm a Malaysian but i can say Thai Airways is the best airlines in the world that i had seen. Even though some of the aircraft not offer quipped with IFE but i can say the food and beverage inflight is the best and the service of cabin crew are genuine. It is awesome. Bravo Thai Airways.

i'm a filipino american who lived in chiang mai, thailand, for 8 months, and i LOVED thai people and thai culture. being raised filipino, though, made the thais view me as having 'jai dii' (a good heart) b/c i was polite and respectful. our cultures are pretty similar, other than religious differences of being catholic and buddhist.

Besides, PAL's new video is as good as this one. Just needs some polishing, though.

hahaa !!! tear* sorry was just thinking how funny it would be if they played this music as background "elevator music" while in flight and then at 2:10 i wanted to see that lady yelling "WE GOIN DOWN BITCHEZ !!!" and then pans out of the plane showing a bunch of people all running around back n forth yelling n screaming while the elevator music is still playing ahaha !!! ahh welcome to my mind. =^_^=

Definitely the best flight safety video in the market - excellent videography, very clear message sent- never had a safety video been so enjoyable to watch! if Thai Airways has the financial capacity like some of the world's top airlines in offering market leading products, Thai Airways would easily be the world's best airline. I am a Singaporean and proud of Singapore Airlines, I must say that Thai Airways has all the "soft" elements (service, food etc) to make it the world's very best!

Windows Shade must be pulled up because. Many problem can occurs during take off or landing. The pilot weren't able to see around the plane; so the window shade must be pull up because if something went wrong during take off / landing passenger were able to see and inform the FA.

PR's planes don't have PTV in every fleet. (Don't act like you are EK, EY, QR, SQ etc) or even First class, you have never know what is the first class look like. For service I don't wanna talk about 3rd person like crews but trust me in asia, PR's crews are not in the top 10 of air crews.

Thai Airways is extremely professional, from ticket check-in to boarding, it's amazing. U.S. airlines could learn alot from them in customer service and professionalism!
I flew on them 4 times in 3 wks, and each time I was treated very well, top notch service, I highly recommend this airline.
