actually, you're supposed to recite the Quran with beauty because it is a beautiful book and the words of the Almighty are beautiful. What joy would there be in listening to someone reciting in a dull, flat, boring voice? I choose to listen to the Quran instead of music, and its the beauty of the recitations which touch the heart. We can't all speak Arabic or understand it.

These saudi charlatans recite the qur'an as if they are singing a song and cry because of the beauty of their voice. They do not cry because the message of the qur'an engaged their hearts and shifted it into the ZIKR OF ALLAH. People are listening to the qur'an as if they are listening to music and suggest to listen to it INSTEAD OF music as if it's in the same category. When the qur'an is a source of guidance correctness and spiritual healing.
