Is it just me or does the one little child-shikigami servant of Kikyo sound like it's the same voice as Mayu, the girl from Kagome's time in the Soul Piper episode?
look guys the only reason inuyasha fell in 'love' with kikyo in the first place is because it was preparing him for the carzy, stupid, funny, kagome. I dont hate kikyo i just like kagome more cuz she never tried to change inuyasha the way kikyo did. Kagome loves him as half-demon,just the way he is every angry, yelling, funny, romantic and i know we all like it too. ^.^
You guys, seriously. -_- Its not a fashion to hate Kikyo and leave all kinds of nasty comment of how much you hate her. Its about 151 episodes old and annoying.This show should be called Kikyo. This episode I thought showed more then trivial Kikyo and Kagome drama. It showed a different side of Inuyasha. He was more compassionate to Kagome's feelings. This was also the first time we saw Inuyasha choose to stay by Kagome's side and not run after Kikyo. He also openly admits her saying she hated him in anger hurt his feelings a complete opposite to his hard cold demeanor that refuses friends and companions. Or at least tries to convince others that's how he feels.
I feel like people who hate Kikyo fail to see the whole plot of the story and point of her character. -_- She's not a favorite character of mine but interesting and tragic none the less. But I guess it means Rumiko-sensei did a good job with character development and story to the point where people can hate Kikyo. *shrug* In any case, Kagome is a NICE GIRL. Too nice really but it's a big wonderful part of her character.

I find it really nice for Kagome to save Kikyo... But one thing I dont get is why people hate her so much? I mean I used to hate her until the episodes that showed her past life and then I started to like her... I love Kagome for saving Kikyo. The fact that she's often not very useful in battle is made up by her awesome personality. And for the Kikyo haters...all I have to say is grow up would you? No character is really worth hating except the villain (although to be honest, I don't even hate Naraku xD). And before you say it, no, Kikyo is not a villain because she's dead (stupidest reason for hating her -.-) Otherwise Rin and Kohaku are evil too right?

People say that Kikyo is still alive until the Final Act. But on the third movie, in the description it says something about Kikyo!! ._. So...for that the producers just can't get enough of her.

Kagome, you saved Kikyo how many times ? In the beginning , that old lady used you souls to resurrect Kikyo. In the cave, the cave that eat's priestesses , you fought and fought til Kikyo and you saw the blue skies. And now look , what's that ? You cleared miasma out of her body and healed her !! @Wendixieful I just thought I'd point out that Kikyo and Kagome saved EACH OTHER in that cave. If it weren't for Kagome, Kikyo wouldn't have gotten out. If it weren't for Kikyo, Kagome wouldn't have gotten out either.

@11grace18 Lol mostly kagome's work ;) I`m pointing that out for sure , Kikyo couldn't even move as much as Kagome. Even thought she may be weak from the cave or just didn't have energy. Kagome & her are exactly alike, Kagome did EVERYTHING. Kikyo just helped Kagome combine the shards && believed in Kagome. Nuff said? ;P
