They also look a lot like some of the previous harvest moon charachters...but meshed with others, for example: "Sakura" looks like she's a mix of Chelsea from HM:IOH with the bandana of Joe from HM:MM.

Besides that the male charachters all kind of look like those old "Rescue Heroes" Toys

Okay, I've always kind of disliked the traditional HM style of drawing (except on STH). Rune Factory is WAY better. But I know Natsume didn't go this ugly. Don't even bother trying to fool us into thinking that that's a real game. Especially on the PS3!

I really doubt that's the next game coming out. The graphics are supposed to improve, especially, the character sketches. The PS3 especially should have the best graphics.

The next Harvest Moon game is going to be for the Wii. I believe it's already out in Japan, and is due in the US in October of this year. I think it's going to be called "Harvest Moon: Animal Parade", with similar features to Tree of Tranquility.
