I love the slow, very emotional way of interpretation, you decided for... it gives the cantus firmus a very warm touch going straight to the heart! Amazing version!!
This is gorgeous. You're only the second person I've seen on youtube who brings out the feeling in the piece. Ton Koopman is the other. I love the sound of the organ as well.
lovely playing but why did you leave out the repeat? it changes the whole piece. and what's all this stuff about the star rating. should we really care about that enough to comment about it? one bit of criticism: your posture is not ideal. the body is hunching over throughout. look for yourself. compare to the guy standing behind you. his back is straight more or less and he's in a relaxed mode. yours should be just as straight or not more upright. and your pageturner walking away distracts.
try playing a B natural m. 7 instead of a B flat. this is possibly a misprint. everyone plays a B natural but there exists an argument that it is a misprint.
THis video really deserves 5 stars for many reasons : the organist talent, the nice organ sounds and of course the great composer. So, I rate too for *****.
If you can, please rate also for some of my video, because I have had the same trouble with a man that do not appreciate my music.

Felix Mendelsohn said that if life robbed him of every hope and belief, hearing this piece would restore all of it in an instant.
