gul we call for any flower and gulab=rose, similarly Spin gul =white flower, zarin gul= golden flower, Anar gul = flower of a fruit, char gul = flower with 4 wings
Nice. Char=4, is actually Persian. Zerrin being gold makes sense to me. Ve use Cicek for Flower. Let me say some words related to Flowers lets see if you notice: Karanfil, Feslegen, Lale, Papatya, Tomurcuk, Diken Yaprak, Dal, Koku. Let`s see if you will catch some.
i see one name in truk government hameed gul. it seems turk have the name. Gul is my family name. all of my family people "gul" as second part as name
"gul" means flower in Uyghur and Uzbeki languages. In East Turkestan, typically girls add "gul" at the end of their names, for example, Bahargul, Rushangul, Aygul, etc.
gul mean same in afghan and pakistan language. afghan male also use gul as last part but gul for female some time used as first part as gul dana , gul begum, gul andama, gul chaynai , gul bano but if second part it is pronounced as "gula" like bibi gula, shrin gula. my all male family members have gul as second part of name, taza gul, speen gul, nasser Gul. Ahmed Gul, Adam Gul, Anar Gul, Aman Gul, Zerri gul like that
It is in Uzbek language, atirgul means rose. By the way Yulduz's this song, in its pick, was not so popular in Uzbekistan as it was in neigboring countries such as Tajikistan or Kyrgyzistan.
i can say in one of Turkic language, we all turks use "gul" for the "flower" or "rose", we say "atir" is in English kind of ( i am not really sure, might be) "perfume". ONe more thing Uyghur and Uzbek language so close then other Turkic languages.
Uzbeks are eurasians and Europe is not ailen to them. I woudld say they are half europeans both genetically and georafically - their country is situated between Europe and Asia.
By the way, Europe copies all fasion from Asia nowadays - look at tibetan style trends or indian embroidries in all high street shops or even desighner boutiques in teh West. We all now dress up in clothes with asian touch! It's what lyrics what make people to listen in Uzbekistan.
I am afraid I am being misunderstood. i wouldn't deny the truth about the proximity of Uzbekistan to Europe but the dresses the singers and the dancers are wearing are no doubt purely Western European. Again, it's true that most of the Eastern European and Eurosian nations are copying the Western European nations when it comes to dresses and all the cultural stuff.
Dear Brothers while enjoying good music, think for a while how much common things we have? why we are against each other. May be some individual /ethnic group have made mistakes but Why people like gulagha,Tajikboy or Zazaitoor are abusing/cursing our religion. Why religion is their Target? Is it not a question.Whether they have sold their souls? please come and let me know your comments

In 1.06 of the video you can see a girl moving her head. Loved it! :) Only Uzbek girls (and Uyghur maybe) move their heads like this. :)

gul=rose. It did not make sense to me until you tell me about it but ==> atir=fragrance. we used the word "itir", or itr, now it makes sense.
