I have Damon too! I've had mine for 8 months, and already I'm getting them off next November. <3

Damon CANT Have colors, believe me, I asked.

The difference between damon andd regular is Damons smaller, made of sapphire and the wires are more flexible.

@SunshineeTips damon braces can have colour, most orthodontists just don't offer them with the damon braces because they don't need them. i have damon braces and the ortho i got to gives their patients the options of having colours just for the looks basically.

@EmilyGIrl264 no they are designed not to need the "color" know as the liguature but if you require a power chain then there will be color then

@EmilyGIrl264 it have colors on the sides of the brackets , but its not that visible and the color fades away . Damon braces also don't need elastics not like the conventional one that have elastics which put the color on the braces . :)

@EmilyGIrl264 No you can't. Damon Braces dont require a band color. which is good cuz u wont have as much pain

Can't wait to see an update. I got square wires put in on Tuesday and it hurts like heck. Are u familiar? Why square and not round wires?

@garzagial the round wires are an extra thing to hold the bracket in place. I assume you have damon braces, so that would make sense because they can slide freely. Normally you get the wires towards the end of your braces-wearing time so be happy! Im getting mine off in 3 days!

Did you notice your dental arches expanding throughout the course of your treatment? Did the width between your molars get wider? I just got damon's put on two weeks ago and expansion of my arches is one of my main goals. Thanks!
