The original APB was such a great game and fairly original concept. Why'd they have to try and make it so... modern and typical? Would've been a great license otherwise.

This was a major failure! The controls are way too sensative even at the lowest setting and if you are one pixel off you miss your target. Half the players are running around with aimbots and noob farming is commonplace. The matchmaking system is the worst ever. The only good thing about this game is the customization and it takes too long to unlock the cool clothes.

Actually, I think this game was designed for killing other players. If you get the game just to roam and adventure then you're gonna get bored quick. You might want to skip this one and wait for Cataclysm to come out instead.

When they could just use their own stuff and require you to have a pc, and as long as the specs are not crazy high, chances are, the same amount of ppl will buy it anyway.

I only hope the driving is improved before retail. In all videos I've seen so far the vehicles seem so darned floaty, like they're driving on ice or something. Since I intend to spend most of my time driving when I'm not designing clothes, I really hope it will change : (

The starter vehicle for both factions is pretty squirrelly. Here's a good tip: after you get decent weapons save up $3000 and buy a Han Veo. The beginning car, Han Cellante, is designed with low weight on the rear axle and will drift randomly left and right. It's so unpredictable that it's utterly useless for car chases. Best bet at start is to skip spawning the Cellante and use NPC vehicles until you get some chedda fo somethin' bedda.

Gonna be a little hard as a beta tester to use all the day customizing stuff, when the game corrently is in closed beta^^. That means that beta testers can only play the game at special times. Now, as a beta tester, i can only play the game highest 4 hours a week.
