Football and rugby are different.I prefer rugby and I believe there is a lot more sportsmanship involved with rugby, however I do not think football is bad at all. There are role models in each sport and when they do wrong (ie dive, fight, etc), it portrays the sport in a different manner. Overall it's how each of you play the game itself. If you'd rather see free-kicks earned wrongly in football or fights and sin bin's in rugby. Your choice. How can you compare two completely different sports?
Europeans do not understand the sheer size and intensity of football players. The tackles contain about 4x the amount of force, if they did not wear protection they would be dead. Even if they didn't wear protection, NFL players would gladly play, these guys are scary motherfuckers. Lets face it, the average football player would rip your average rugby player in half.

Because in soccer, you can't directly possess the ball, tackling the opponent won't help you since your target is the ball not the player, and the balls on the ground not in the players hands, therefore I doubt there would be more "tackles" in soccer...

I've had a few season tickets. It is an alright sport! but fact of the matter is, rugby is far more intellectual, faster, harder, and it gets your adrenaline pumping. Football and rugby are different.I prefer rugby and I believe there is a lot more sportsmanship involved with rugby, however I do not think football is bad at all. There are role models in each sport and when they do wrong (ie dive, fight, etc), it portrays the sport in a different manner. Overall it's how each of you play the game itself. If you'd rather see free-kicks earned wrongly in football or fights and sin bin's in rugby. Your choice. How can you compare two completely different sports?

Europeans do not understand the sheer size and intensity of football players. The tackles contain about 4x the amount of force, if they did not wear protection they would be dead. @rattyfatty246 The reason why you can't get a free kick if someone tackled you in rugby is because that's the only way to stop the ball..... since in rugby you carry the ball instead of kicking it around( that is a viable option though). Because in soccer, you can't directly possess the ball, tackling the opponent won't help you since your target is the ball not the player, and the balls on the ground not in the players hands, therefore I doubt there would be more "tackles" in soccer...

@thetrueninja222 Your whole argument is saying that there are no tackles in soccer is because of red cards.You're wrong for two reasons: 1) in every collision sport, the only player who can be tackled is the ball carrier because they have DIRECT possession of the ball, kicking it around doesn't count 2) tackling won't help because the ball is not in direct possession so a midfielder would just pick up where that foreward you sacked had left off....in other words, tackling in soccer is useless.

@talonneur38 Ouaip je suis un gros footeux, un des plus gros footeux du monde et alors ? Ouaip dans le stade en chante des chant pour la passion du club ^^ C'est pas parce que tu as quelque merdeux qui enclenche des émeutes après les math ou encore des raciste de merde qui chante ^^ tape sur youtube "dortmund supporter" : ça c'est des vrai supporter !! Qui sont la pour la passion du sport ! t'inquiet pas que pour le fric je suis tout a fait d'accord avec toi, mais on n'en peut rien nous ^^

Mais on vous encule ! Vive le foot, le plus beau sport du monde ! Et puis vous dites que le rugby c'est plus violent plus pour les hommes, mais si vous regardez le sport où y'a le plus de bléssé c'est le Foot ! C'est facile de montrer des vidéo stupides de foot, mais fais un rugby vs football, et vous mettez messi, C.ronaldo, ronaldino, ronaldo, pato et tout avec les meilleur club du monde (Barça, réal, Milan AC, Man U, arsenal, etc ...) c'est bcp mieux le foot ! RUGBY RUGBY ON T ENCULE !!!!!!!!

@Scalisi01 hé gars toi t'es bien un footeux avec ce genre de propos a la fin " rugby on t'encule " retourne de battre dans un stade de foot , chanter des chants raciste et j'en passe car c'est pas dans un stade de rugby que tu verras ce qui se passe dans un stade de foot deja. le foot est blindé d'argent les joueurs sont sur-payé par rapport a ce qui font toucher des millions par an c'est abuser tout sa. meme si les deux sports s'aiment pas restons dans l'esprit sportif svp ...

ha ba oui sa au foot des blessé yen a des tas, le genre qui sortent sur civiere et qui 2 minutes apres rerentre sur le terrain et courent comme des lapins ...
