  • teriffic work! do you purchase or construct your own gears and pieces? I am interested in crafting my own but I have no woodworking experience. I think legos and knex are the only experience I have in engineering.

  • i love it...

  • @iLOVENATURE2011 Thank you ILN2011 for your kind comments, I'm pleased you enjoy my work so much :)

  • really good video..very amazing.. :D

  • Thanks for having this video clip posted. Cool and amazing. How I wish I could do something like this soon.

  • Very interesting work Brett! Amazing and so innovative!

  • @Annie0854 Thank you Anne Marie, happy you like my mechanical stylings :)

  • very elaborate. holding the camera still would be nice though

  • are theese pieces loud? can you hang it on the wall for some days, or would that be to loud?!

  • @muh1h1 These strictly gear pieces hardly make any noise at all. Parabola has some noise from the spring loaded striker and the bouncing of the ping pong balls. If you check out Muse Descending a Staircase, the footage has a soundtrack, though by far that sculpture is the noisiest one I have made. Thanks for your interest and comments :)

  • Timing must be a real bitch hu? :P

  • Um, wow?

  • amazing construction!

  • love what you have created here, tell me do you produce use for resale? I would love to buy one or two. Thank you.

  • Now this is amazing! I love the engineering behind it, the detail, the artistry of the gears!

  • i love your art!

  • Very nicely done man....

  • @thebigguyrc413 Cheers, pleased you enjoyed!

  • Excellent!

  • Magnifique!!!!!! love it!

  • @cuoylyf Thank you Isis. I will be uploading a musical version of this one in the not too distant future. Have you seen my new video, Parabola - Gravity, yet? All the best, Brett X.

  • The "target" gear that is trtansported all over needs to be painted bright red so it is easy to see what is happening.... add some color to the other gears and it would be even more awesome. Thanks...

  • you have the patience of a saint, mind blowin stuff my friend, top marks!

  • Wow. That is really amazing... How many bottles of aspirin did it take to get everything just so?

  • I love how it's a gear itself that is taking the journey.

  • @JohnPritzlaff Thanks John, glad that you enjoyed!

  • I'm speechless!

  • who ever made that must have had one weird mind.

  • As always, your work is amazing. It's sweet that the one taking the odyssey is a gear himself, a disengaged one at that. Nevertheless, he comes full circle from where he started and that's the sense of it all. I love your art. I admire what you do. Keep shining! :) Infinite stars for you and your odyssey as an amazing artist.!:)
