  • Wow does that work! I think this clicks as a great match.

  • Hello, anybody around, i need space or am i imagin things?

  • is this the same song from this part of the movie?

  • @michael1234252 No. Most of this part was completely without music. Though it's great music and an excellent composition, I think the film worked better in as of it's own.

  • @ForgottenMovieGems ok thanks

  • Wonderful one :)

  • I think it would of been waiting even Longer for Brian Eno to do the score, but this is still a great piece right here.

  • yes the world does belong within your hand, the frequencys and the slightest ripple or distant thud whisper or strand just enough to remind us who we are sailing along our ocean bedazzling

  • The bittersweetness of this is almost too much to bear........as the memories flood through me......

  • reminds me of the steve miller band

  • this music and video offer so much depth and beauty. It is truly hard to explain the sense of bewilderment and insignificance this music offers. A story so large it is incomprehensible.

  • @niroshido you've hit the nail.... on the head......

  • @niroshido COMO LA VIDA MISMA ...

  • I've always wanted to hace a bedroom just like this one. Love the lighted floors.

  • i was watching this film with my friend when we were like 15 years old...now 30 and can't wait to see jarre in athens...

    2 days to come...

  • great song ...the backgrounds reminds me a bit of the blade runner theme!

  • i thought that was quite beautiful. Intresting at the end when he pointed to the monolith in that renaissance setting reminded me of that Michelangelo painting on the ceiling of the Sistene chapel. Never thought about that until your vid. Always wondered why Kubrick chose that decor for his hotel room.

  • S o incompatible (I'm just old - spare me).

  • Oh!! thank you!!!!!!

  • The combination of one of my favorit artist and one of my favorit films is great

  • Sorry m.Jarre !| Excusme, please . Now I only would know why ' jdudaas' hate this wonderful film. By by, 'senza rancore' W la libertà!

Ciao m. Jarre.

  • Simply gorgeous.

  • .....

  • beautiful beatiful makes me wanna cry thank u

  • This is so perfectly unique combination... Love it. Thank you for sharing :)

  • 5 stars to this creation, Mr. jdudaas. Excellent combination of futuristic Kubrick and futuristic Jarre. I jut love it.

  • A Superb creation!

  • great

  • perfect!

  • a minimalist song and movie.. both are perfect

  • Beautiful music, my favorite by Jarre. Beautiful; futuristic; spiritual and solitary.

  • da lijepa melodija. Nice melody. Ok this is a positive opinion (i use the song when i try to sleep, it helps) believe hehe ;).

  • Aha :)

Meditating basis with a dramatic note spreading over perfectly.

  • @saledigitalac

    To moram da probam.

Pored toga.

Great movie, but mated to this (which is one of Jarre's lesser work) it's proof some things don't really go with each other.

  • ahh...the days of zoolook...i remember them well...sort of.

  • this was well after Zoolook mate - this is from Metamorphoses, released in 2000.

  • I dedicate this video rating to Kemo and all the times we tripped out to this stuff in the black Toyota truck in the hills of Hollywood, CA. We overlooked the life pulse of the raging West Coast "coked-out lights" in the distance too lives we didn't know.. but lived amongst. Now again I trip on the music set to a space movie that scared me as a young wanna be Astronaut. Thanks again Kemo!

  • beautiful melody

  • anyone else noticed that the melodic line resembles A LOT with Vangelis' "Blade Runner - End Credits"? This one sounds A LOT better though... :)

  • sorry, the correct name is "Blade Runner - End Titles Theme".

  • Favourite film and favourite musician!

If only Kubrick had waited another 10 years to make this, Jarre could of done the score!

  • @JongleurGrey The score was already amazing

  • La puta! Como me hubiese gustado ser un genio!

  • jean michel nunca defrauda.

  • thats just amazing! what a sound!

  • excellent sound

Paix.

  • cross of time and space.

he saw some differnt time-zone himself on same-space.

    and,

he saw some different space himself on same-time-zone.

Then he saw identity of himself...as human.

  • Rien compris

  • You know, I never understood this scene. Here I thought after the flight, Dave was in the pod and in shock and seeing himself in the room, and then the pod vanished, and from the bathroom he saw himself older and vanished as the older him went to investigate, then after the glass broke he saw himself in bed almost dying. I read the book to see if I could make any sence of that scene, but according to the book I did NOT get this picture.
