I was watching the "This is why we hate" series that is very popular for League of Legends, and just unable to stop because I was determined to find one quality joke in it, and it occurred to me, shit like that and this are popular, maybe we're the crazy ones... But if I am crazy for not finding these shitty series funny, sanity is not very appealing.
FYI the person who did this is friends with and has collaborated with one of the people who voiced the elemental goddess series, I'm completely serious.

I keep seeing people say this is an early video in the series? Did he actually abridge part of it to get to the end of the first disc early on? I mean, after Snake beats Sniper Wolf, he goes into the torture with Ocelot, and thats the first part of disc 2, how is that early on in a series that simply takes the plot and dubs stupid jokes over it?
Last time I checked he's juggling between MGS 2 abriged, and the MGS 1 abriged remake, despite never the fact that he never finished It In the first place.
I hate jokes about PeTA, because PeTA really does suck, and PeTA jokes make people think the only reason to think PeTA sucks is if you're stupid like the people who make all those tired PeTA jokes. It makes me ashamed to be a person who thinks PeTA sucks.

Abridged series would be easier to enjoy if they put more effort into writing clever and unique jokes and less on rehashing old running gags and having tons of intros and crap.
@Omegamode Considering how most of the jokes in that series are about how bad the original one was, Chip and Ironicus wouldn't really get it, or have much t make fun of. Also, the voice acting isn't shit, so there isn't that, and the picture quality of the videos is pretty good as well. There's not a lot to make fun of, SMA is just boring sometimes.

Well, in fairness this was one of the first videos he made, can't expect him to have "Hit his stride" yet in terms of "entertainment".
That said, you can expect the production quality to be bad in the beginning when you don't know what the fuck you're doing, but the jokes could have been funny, or coherent at the least.

Because someone criticized someones favorite Youtuber, and that person just so happened to have a ton of subscribers. But that's not all, they will all block you from their channel. How does it feel? Ok, I seriously don't get the point of Retsuparing this guy. I mean the other videos made sense since the quality of the youtuber as a whole was bad and they needed to get better. Although it isn't the case with this youtuber. All you did was take one of his earliest works and made fun of it even though you know when people start out their work isn't perfect. I have to agree that it wasn't really a strong retsupurae, but I can't really agree with the whole "it's an early episode with flaws, you can't attack it." What alot of the more rabid retsupurae fanboys don't seems to understand is that, while there are episodes where the hatred is genuine (such as playtennis14), most retsupuraes are generally good-natured ribbing, and that was definitely the case here.

Hmm.... I always liked those mechanics. I mean it's not up to the caliber of the latter Final Fantasies in terms of story (mainly due to length), but to me, it always seemed like the best of the NES Final Fantasies. I'm personally one for mixing things up and me, being as grinding obsessed as I am, had fun with the leveling system of the game.

When you put a video on youtube we have every right to criticize it. This is youtube, you are not an actual production company, you do not own any rights to the content. Also, like it or not, the sarcastic remarks of ChipCheezum actually improved the quality of your video.
I think what we learned today is that while none of us understand the subtle mystique behind the abridged series, if this is the community behind it, we're probably the better for it.

@TheNerdator The earlier abridged series (LittleKuriboh's YGOTAS, Lanipator's Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged, Kaiserneko's Lupin the Third Abridged, etc.) featured a one-man show approach. Only as the community expanded did people begin to cast others, which can honestly become frustrating because having other actors only adds more frustrations, in regards to direction and deadlines.
I remember watching the first episode of this months ago. I stopped at the first instance of repeating footage. I'm glad I did seeing this.

Ok, I seriously don't get the point of Retsuparing this guy. I mean the other videos made sense since the quality of the youtuber as a whole was bad and they needed to get better. Although it isn't the case with this youtuber. All you did was take one of his earliest works and made fun of it even though you know when people start out their work isn't perfect. I have to agree that it wasn't really a strong retsupurae, but I can't really agree with the whole "it's an early episode with flaws, you can't attack it." What alot of the more rabid retsupurae fanboys don't seems to understand is that, while there are episodes where the hatred is genuine (such as playtennis14), most retsupuraes are generally good-natured ribbing, and that was definitely the case here.
Internet is not some grand galactic conflict, guyz.

The best retsupurae/retsupurae-style videos are the ones where all the butthurt little fanboys of whatever shitpile just got humiliated come to the video's comments section to valiantly defend whatever it is from any sort of negative criticism. It easily makes the retsupurae at least 3 times as funnier than it would be otherwise.

Continuing from my previous comment, I am sort of in the same boat as this Quadros guy. I have a pretty shitty first episode to my series, but that's up to the viewer. I for one wouldn't mind a nice bashing from these guys, because hearing these sorts of things can actually show you where you improved on since then. Seriously, fans of this series, get over it. I can't concentrate from the sheer amount of frustration these comments are giving me to type a coherent response. All I can say is: GET OVER IT. Seriously, it's the goddamn Internet, people can have their own opinion on things. So what if they say the entire series is shit because the first episode is. Everyone knows that the first episode will be watched the most, so if it's not funny, they won't continue watching the series, regardless of if it gets better or not. I'm still not done typing!

Hmm.... I always liked those mechanics. I mean it's not up to the caliber of the latter Final Fantasies in terms of story (mainly due to length), but to me, it always seemed like the best of the NES Final Fantasies. I'm personally one for mixing things up and me, being as grinding obsessed as I am, had fun with the leveling system of the game.

I think what we learned today is that while none of us understand the subtle mystique behind the abridged series, if this is the community behind it, we're probably the better for it.
(seriously, I love how when there's a retsupurae done of some WACKY and RANDOM thing, the creators and their fanboys instantly turn into humorless dicks, while when the normal or lunkheaded people are the targets, they're capable of seeing the joke and laugh along with it)

@TheNerdator The earlier abridged series (LittleKuriboh's YGOTAS, Lanipator's Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged, Kaiserneko's Lupin the Third Abridged, etc.) featured a one-man show approach. Only as the community expanded did people begin to cast others, which can honestly become frustrating because having other actors only adds more frustrations, in regards to direction and deadlines.
